About the Author

B.B., ALSO KNOWN as Bebe, found her passion for romance when she read her first romance novel by Susan Johnson at a young age. She would sneak into her mother's closet for books and even sometimes the attic. When she finally decided to pick up a pen and write, she found a new way to embrace her passion. She favors a romance that isn't always easy on the eyes or heart, and loves to see characters grow--characters who are seemingly doomed from the start but find love anyway.

Do you know how it feels when you have to (and not because people expects me to but because there's strictly no way I wouldn't do it) to write the review of a book you have SOOO much you want to say about and you're starring at a blank page, frustration growing deeper and deeper, as words just WONT come ? Yeah... THAT. Pure FRUSTRATION. Because every single sentence I had written yet just dont seem to be good enough. As I pull my hair, sigh and scratch my forehead, I'm thinking... ONE word! I just need one word to start this review; one word that would describe it fairly. And there it popped like a bottle of champagne; PERFECTION. Yeah, yeah, I hear you; we get that all the time about books that moved us like a landslide, RIGHT? And honestly, we all about expected THAT from Knight and B.B. Reid, huh? But you see, nothing's more wrong; because I actually just gave away a fair compare: LANDSLIDE. Knight is the most intensive landslide I've "set foot" on. -The perfect one-. Now, let me explain WHY it's those words that taunts me right now. Let me tell you why its PERFECTION. Perfect motion, perfect story, perfect rythme, perfect twists, perfect time frame, HIGHLY perfect characters, definitely MOST perfect longing, lusting, yearning, exhilarating, passionate and possessive love/hate story. You think Angel possesses and owns Mian but let me tell you who else he owns and possesses: YOU. The reader. The guy grips you so fiercely into his pawn that you sure as hell understands why Mian can't get away from his grab. If you think he was overwhelming in Bandit, I can promise you one thing right here and now: he will RUIN you in Knight.Read more ›

Picking up pretty much where The Bandit left off, THE KNIGHT was the thrilling conclusion to Angel and Mian's story. Or was it? Because my thoughts and emotions were all over the place while reading this, I'm finding it a little difficult to give a structured review. So here's a list of my thoughts, both positive and negative, in no particular order, and I wish you luck in understanding my meaning in the end.

♞ Mian was still a spoiled brat. She still lacked logic, reasoning and maturity, but somehow earned some of my respect. Go figure. I like people who don't know how to stay down when they get knocked down and she was definitely one of those people. I especially liked the way that Angel saw her, which was so different than the way I did.
♞ Angel was still my boo. I didn't like how soft he was when it came to Mian because in my opinion she didn't deserve so much of his mercy, but I guess I can't dictate how he expressed his love for her.
♞ I'm not sure if it's just my copy, but it felt like I was missing out on entire scenes. Characters were introduced and events occurred that didn't completely make sense and I got kind of lost. It was entertaining but I had a few "huh?" moments.
♞ Huge chunks of time passed with no real insight on what happened during that time. I'm talking like 3 years and then another year. I get the story has to end somewhere, and maybe I'm the only one who feels this way, but the end didn't really feel like an ending. I felt that the characters, especially Angel, deserved more of a conclusion to his story. So much happened in this duet and I feel let down that the end was rushed and glossed over.

OMG! This book was amazing!

I was hooked on this series after reading Bandit ( Book 1). The Knight (Book 2) far exceeded all my expectations. It was SO GOOD!! I really didn't want it to end. I was hanging on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Totally engrossed in the story that unfolds, with my kindle in a death grip.

Mian and Angel are made for each other in every way possible. Their chemistry is off the charts. Is that enough though? After all the secrets, lies and misdeeds. Can they make things work or will they go down in flames?

I don't want to give too much away, as this book you MUST READ and experience yourself. Make sure you read Bandit (Book 1) first, so you can follow the storyline. BB Reid is so talented. I can't wait to read more of her books

B.B Reid's The Knight is hauntingly beautiful and will keep you on the edge of your seat. B.B Reid did an amazing job in the continuation of Angel and Mian's epic tale of love, loss and secrets. I don't want to give anything away, there is so much I want to say in this review but I don't want to spoil it for anyone. I'm a huge fan of B.B's work and I think Angel and Mian are at the top of my list as favourite couple. The Knight has a mysterious and sexy story line that just grips you and pulls you in, and seriously you don't want to leave. Angel and the boys will have you devouring this book page by page, I could not put it down. An absolutely stunning read from such a talented author, I cannot wait for more!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow!! Loved it! May 3 2017

Absolutely loved this series! I was graciously given an ARC by the author and couldn't put it down. No spoilers but I will say that my feelings for Mian and Anna changed in this book. I don't know what it was but Mian just seemed to be on this high horse like her dad wasn't also a criminal and if she really would think about it, he's half the reason she's in this life. The other half, hello, she chose to steal from Angel. I know she was all about protecting her son but Angel was trying to help. And yes, Angel was an ass in the first book but all he ever did was try to protect her and she keeps treating him like crap. What he does for her and she still acts like a bitch. Anna just got aggravating. I still love, love, love Angel, Lucas, Z, Caylen, and now Augustine. The best scenes were no doubt between Lucas, Z, and Caylen. They are so cute together. I can not wait until they all get their own stories. Ok one spoiler, Aaron should have been dealt with way more painfully, like testicles being chopped off or something. In all the book was awesome, I didn't expect anything less from B.B. Reid. Her writing grabs you and you don't want to let go. I can't wait for the spinoffs.

What a ride, what a ride! Story picks up right where The Bandit left off. We got more of a back story and more history (which'd I loved) and action. You see Angel soften or bend for Mian and can I just say flippin swoon!! I'm sure it may not be enough for some readers but it was total swoon for me. We see Mian get stronger. She becomes a Queen and you really see her work and herself, trying to be a better mother. I saw no flaw but I understood her struggle. Some of the chacaters from The Bandit were in the Knight and their story grew so much and it appears like there will be a spin off (cue happy dance) (cue happy dance again). We met new characters and I hope to continue seeing them.
Now the part I hate but this wouldn't be an honest review if I left it out. B.B. don't hate me, I still love you. I found some of the hot/cold from Angel and Mian could have been left out. I feel 2 or 3 of the scenes should have been edited out, it almost felt repetitive that by the end of those scenes there was no progression of anything. It felt like fillers, and if you have read any of my reviews I often make remarks of fillers its a thing for me. So yes a few of those scenes to me could have been cut. I do realize that the hot/cold, or back and fourth was Angel and Mian's relationship, I get it if they didn't have it we really wouldn't have much of a book here. So please understand I only said a few scenes, not the whole relationship, with those out of the book the story would have been the same, they led nowhere. Okay I'm over that topic it hurt to type that out.
This was a great follow up, B.B. did a fantastic job getting the history and back story in (I really enjoyed that) and in a way that was easy to follow (lets be honest it don't take much to get me confused). Along wit the side stories and growth of these characters make this a book you don't want to miss

Reviewed For I'm A Sweet And Sassy Book Whore

I was lucky enough to have The Knight already waiting on my kindle when I finished The Bandit and couldn’t wait to jump into what was going to happen next. This one picks up pretty close to where The Bandit leaves off, so you aren’t missing out on any of the action, that I promise you. Angel and Mian still have that intensity and darkness to their relationship, but what will happen between them? That is what we were all wondering when we were left off at the end of The Bandit.

Now I must admit as much as I loved The Knight, Mian lost a bit of my love in this book. I understood her feelings, a million times over I understood but after a while I just got a bit annoyed with her. Now I loved Angel in The Bandit and I loved him again in The Knight. What he does proves he is so much more than meets the eye, and no I am not telling you what because I refuse to spoil it but I didn’t see him doing what he did by any means but the fact that he did it, cemented him as one of my book boyfriends for life. Yes I love the dark, @$$%^&* heroes that should not be a surprise to anyone.

Now the twists that Ms. Reid threw it had me questioning her and wanting to scream why are you doing this to us you evil evil woman, but if she hadn’t added those twists I probably wouldn’t have been glued to my kindle like I was. I mentioned in my review of The Bandit that I hoped that we would get more from the other characters and it looks like that may be actually happening and I think I will need to stock up on alcohol just to get through it when we do get it. #@!! my wine consumption doubled reading these books, but then again that is easy for this book whore to do but still my husband was not impressed lol.

Make sure you have read The Bandit before starting The Knight or you will be totally lost as to what has happened and lead up to where we are at now. The Knight will have you on the edge of your seat, breathing hard while you go on the wild ride that Ms. Reid puts you through. Angel and Mian will make you crazy, make you want to reach into your kindle, or book, and just shake them one minute and the next have you needing more of the intensity that is their relationship. This is another must read that this book whore highly and easily recommends!

5.0 out of 5 stars The wait was worth it May 3 2017

Let me tell you .....WOW!!! What an ending to a nail biting set. This book had twists and turns and suspense like I haven't read in a while. Loved the main characters and their struggle through this whole story. I was rooting for them from the beginning of book 1 and there were times I had to stop and wonder how this book was going to end and if I was okay with that. So many times the author would make me feel relief at how everything was progressing and then she'd pull the rug out of under me. How I didn't have heart failure while reading this I'm not sure. The wait for this second book was agonizing, after the way we were left at the end of book one, but I can now say it was so worth the wait.

4.5 Stars!

“How can you expect me to love a monster?” His smile drove a blade through my heart. “You become one.”

I thought the anticipation was going to kill me. I needed this book like I needed air to breathe. BB Reid captures your attention and makes you feel unstable for the entire ride to the finish.

As the battle continues, the plot thickens, making you question where loyalty lies. Take the crown or take the girl... A blurred line. I sat on the edge of my seat wondering how, what would be the final card played. I loved the fierce battle between Angel and Mian. The story is intriguing to say the least. The whole legacy is a compelling part to the story. I, for one need a interesting plot to keep me turning the pages.

The ending was bittersweet for me. I think Angel grew as a character, but he kinda lost some of his edge. Mian being the catalyst, I can't complain too much. She held her own through turmoil and lust.

Overall, this duel was dark romance, suspense, and full of twists that will leave you begging for more.
