HASH(0x9be65b40) out of 5 stars "They say that a good pair of shoes...will bring good encounters." VERY good second volume with a new love interest! Jan. 1 2016

Format: Paperback
Hell yeah they do! Especially when they bring you this guy, Seto <3 Why is this not an anime?

So Komomo and Rise form a friendship and try and support each other. When Komomo learns that Rise's crushing pretty hard on some dude, she tries to help her. Things happen and then Komomo and Rise come out stronger and now Komomo wants to experience love.

But what is it? She tells Natsu she wants to fall in love with him to his horror and he proposes they date. He uses this excuse to get her to do his chores but really, he's teaching her a lesson. Love doesn't bloom just like that and saying something so careless can hurt someone.

I was laughing at these parts because Komomo was acting out the Titanic, Cinderella, etc with Natsu, thinking that's what love was. When she realizes how stupid and naive she's been, she vows not to search for love, but to let it come naturally.

And naturally it does. She meets our dreamboat Seto!! Seto is a shoemaker who also comes from a wealthy background. He gave that up to pursue his dream of shoe making and offers to fix Komomo's for a price she sets since she truly admired his work.

But then she falls for him. And I have no idea which ship I want to sail! In shojo, the love interest that wins is always the dark haired guy and the first one who showed up, and considering the history Natsu has with Komomo, they will end up together. I just really wish the second guy got a chance. But Seto doesn't seem to like Komomo back so far, so right now I can only imagine what will happen.

I really, really enjoyed this volume. We had a strong female friendship that started off terribly in volume 1, we watched Komomo learn that love isn't exactly what the movies portray, and that love comes in the most unexpected of times.

I really am glad I picked this up and am super happy that this was the book I chose to start off the new year with.

Now that Komomo has made friends with Kaname, her previous bully, they’ve grown close. Kaname is in a similar position as what Komomo was in her previous life, and they’ve bonded over that. Kaname confesses her love to a guy with Komomo’s help, and then they set up a double date.

Komomo has never been on a date before, having believed that she was still in an arranged marriage, and is excited for this new experience. Some things go wrong, but Komomo still keeps her optimism and tough front. Komomo is now wanting to fall in love, even if it’s with Natsu.

I just love Minami’s stories at this point. The way Natsu humors and torments Komomo is so funny to me, and I love his possessiveness over her as well. I also appreciate the way that Komomo stands up for herself and what she believes in. Her strength and honesty is admirable.

I love this series, the humor and the characters and just everything about it. I can’t wait for the next one.

HASH(0x9be677c8) out of 5 stars A much anticipated series by the author, and I love it! Dec 2 2015

Love it. Minami-sensei is great! I love the art, and the writing! I love her other work, Special A, and I have waiting for more by her for a while now! This series is playful with a tiny dose of darkness. Bullying is a main theme to the story that takes different forms. The characters seem to be on a path to resolve, and grow from their experiences on either side of the bully-fence, if you will.
