This set was a blast! I'm a very very casual simpsons fan, but still enjoyed this a lot. To be honest, I still liked the Simpsons House more, but this is a close second on my list of favorites

You can also remove the roof and open out the rear walls for easy access. This set also includes Snake (a.k.a. Jailbird), who loves nothing more than stealing cars and robbing the Kwik-E-Mart but this time Chief Wiggum is hot on his tail in his police car. El número de piezas es un poco engañoso porque muchas de las piezas son pequeñas, del tipo botón, pero al final el set es grande y toma unas cuantas horas armarlo; así que está muy bien.
El precio es ideal, lo compré por menos de 3 mil, dado que estaba con más de mil de descuento sobre el precio normal (esto siempre y cuando lo compres directamente de Amazon, porque los re-vendedores los acaparan para re-venderlos a dos o tres veces el precio de Amazon, así que ojo con eso a menos que no te importe comprarlo por más del doble).
El promedio suele ser de 10 centavos de dólar por pieza en la mayoría de los sets de LEGO, así que en este fue significativamente menos de eso.

It took me about 6 hours to put together. There are a lot of very small pieces requiring some fine motor skills (and I had a lot left over), so I would say the 12+ guideline is appropriate.
All in all, this an expensive set but it is very well thought out. Any Simpsons fanatic like myself will get a lot out of it.
