Product Description

The True Fit Rebound (model C670) is one of the newest additions to the True Fit Convertible Car Seat family. This seat delivers all of the standard features from our original True Fit with several new features. This seat features the standard no-rethread easy-to-adjust harness. The harness is for use up to 65 pounds. Our easy off head rest and easy off pads are standard too. The C670 model features smaller bottom rails and the patented Rebound Energy Management system--a flip up rebound bar that actually helps manage the rebound in the unlikely event of a crash. Pull the bar forward and it snaps in place with your rear facing installation and flip it back with you move to the forward facing installation. This seat is fully lined with EPP foam and has deep side wings that really surround your child. We have added a center angle indicator in the front of our seat for use when installing in the rear facing position. This new easy to read indicator will help you determine if you have installed your seat at the angle recommended by Safety Advocates. We have also moved both side LATCH attachments so they are easy to access when you are installing your seat and easy to secure when you remove the seat from your vehicle. Your purchase of this item supports the Lamaze International mission to help moms and babies have the safest, healthiest birth possible.

We book this car seat for our second car and didn't want to spend more $$ on another Britax. It has way more leg room when backward-facing and my son really liked that. We've had to change the Britax to forward-facing (he's 14 mos now) because his legs were just too cramped but he can still sit backwards with the Lamaze. (Read reviews that it's safer to keep kids backward facing for as long as possible) It's a lot roomier than our other car seat and the padding is very comfortable. The removable head piece is quite high so just make sure you double check your blindspot if you install it behind the passenger seat. Great price for a great car seat. May get one for the grandparents...

This car seat is super easy to install and adjust. It's very comfortable for my son and the look is quite nice. My only complaint would be that when the package arrived their was a piece that had popped off and a bar was loose because of it. My husband quickly rectified this.

HASH(0x9b05a150) out of 5 stars Last Manufactured in 2011 Oct. 11 2013

Let me start by saying that this car seat is HUGE. It did not fit well in our Subaru Forester and by no means for into our Honda Insight. It's bulky and incredibly wide as far as convertibles go. When my son fell asleep, his head would roll to the side and then forward (he didn't complain but it looked uncomfortable!).

My biggest issue with this seat is that it is two years old. It has been sitting on a shelf (or in a warehouse) since some time in 2011. This particular seat was last produced in 2011 but I was unaware of this until I purchased the seat and looked at the production/expiration date. If you plan on using this seat forward facing for a while (which I imagine most people like myself would), the normal 6-year expiration is now down to 4-years.

I have since returned the seat and exchanged it for a seat that was made recently and fits well in our cars.

My son would already be growing out of an infant seat at 4 months if we had gotten one.
This seat is so comfy. Doesn't get hot in the sun(90 degree weather), some materials do. Doesn't get too cold either (40 degree weather). The inserts are great. Nice gender neutral color. Detachable cupholder... good since my son is far from the age of sippy cups. Takes awhile to install, and the straps are different than other seats i've used. But just read the manual. ;)

Update @ 8 months: I am still glad we got this seat, but if we have another baby I think I will get a different one. The padding on this one is impossible to snap if you install the seat rear facing with latch. Now that my son is older he plays with it with his feet and I'm afraid as he gets even older he will pull it right off the seat. The straps are a bit difficult to loosen/tighten because it doesn't tighten when buckled, so you have to guess how right you need it before you buckle and readjust a few times to get it to a safe tightness. I do love love love the material of this seat! We have below zero weather here in winter and the seat does not feel cold when we put him in it! We had an extra infant seat for awhile for the convenience of being able to take him in and out while it was snowing without having to wake him... And that material got really cold if left in freezing weather. Also, I'm worried about installing the headrest because we tested it out and it has to be behind the passenger seat with the passenger seat leaned forward, rendering it useless :( and the cars eat is so wide that the back middle seat can't be used by an adult. So basically this car seat turns my 5 seat 2003 Saab 9.3 into a 2 seater plus this huge car seat. It's only an issue when I have to pick up a friend who also has a baby. They end up squished unsafely in the front passenger seat while the two car seats take up the whole back seat. Hmmm. I better not have another baby before this one is out of his car seat!! I'd have to buy a bigger car!

I recently purchased two of these car seats, one for an infant and one for a toddler. They both fit in my car perfectly, and they were very simple to install. Both of my kids love them, and I love how easy they are to clean and adjust. The only downside is one of them didn't come with a cup holder.

We bought this seat for our 10 month old, we plan on rear-facing til at least 2-4 years old for safety reasons. I highly recommend! there are other seats that could last her just as long but this seat was the best one we could find to fit rear-facing in my tiny 2008 Honda civic, love this seat.
