When this series was on the stands, I sort of look a look and never really got into it. Sure, the art was good, it was sort of an original idea, but honestly it didn't grab me.
Cut to years later and either my tastes changed or my curiosity got the better of me; either way I am glad.
Having had the series suggested and recommended to me by numerous people, I saw Deluxe Edition Book One on sale on Amazon and decided "What the Hey" and ordered it.
I was not even a quarter of the way through it when I ordered the other four books.
It has been a VERY long time since I have found a series where my main disappointment at the end of a book is that it is over. I devoured these, and then at the end of Book Five had to sit there and go "Awww, man...".
The story reaches an end, and it is a good one, but I found myself still wanting time with those characters. I wanted to know what happened to so many of them, and how they turned out. The snippets and hints were not enough.
The writing will draw you in. The art will keep you there page after page.
Trust me: If you are going to get one of these compilations, just do yourself a big favor and get all five at once.
Why Goran..? Whyy?
