What are laundry bags used for?
Used to store your dirty clothes before a wash, a laundry bag can help you to keep your home looking (and smelling) clean and fresh. It might seem like there’s very little distinction between the different types of laundry bags, but there’s actually quite a bit that you need to consider:
• Size of your wash. The amount of laundry that you get through plays a big role in which bag to purchase. If you’re using the bag for more than one person, or you get through lots of clothes throughout the week, it’s probably worth getting a large bag so that you’ve got enough space.
• How far you’re taking the bag. If you don’t have a washing machine at your home, chances are that you’ll need to carry your laundry bag to your nearest dry cleaners. You should make sure that you’re able to carry your bag.
• The thickness of the bag. The thicker the bag, the more long-lasting it will end up being. Laundry bags can go through quite a bit of wear and tear, particularly if you’re dragging them to and from the dry cleaners every other week. However, there are a couple of things that you can do to dramatically improve the lifespan of any laundry bag.
