The plot of Majora's Mask is simple. A skull kid becomes possessed by the titular mask, and then lures Link into a world parallel to Hyrule - Termina. He then decides it's a swell idea to take control of the moon, and bring it crashing down to the world in three days! This is always the intimidating part, but Link is able to travel back in time to repeat the cycle as many times as he wants to. This makes the game one where proper planning comes into play--you must know what you want to accomplish at the start of each 3 day cycle to make it worthwhile. The main quest involves conquering 4 temples, but the side quests are actually the centre piece of the game. The creators wanted to make this one where Link interacts and changes the fate of many different people. It's like trying to put life into the video game, which is a great idea. After the quests and 4 temples, the final showdown with Majora comes, and it is epic.
My main criticism of this, like all Zelda titles, is the difficulty. I think they need to start making the games harder to beat. There is not enough challenge even with all the puzzles and the 3 day cycle factored into play. But Majora's Mask is definitely worth playing, and definitely one of the top reasons to get the Nintendo 3DS.
It's amazing Nintendo has managed to keep this timeless classic updated for this new incarnation.
It's mostly the loop of discovering new side-quests, working out all their solutions, collecting all those rewards
and make use of the useful albeit bizarre mask powers that make this game genuinely different.
The game has a surreal tone that drags you in, and with it's non-linear structure, the game doesn't feel like
a Zelda game at times.
Many of the frustrating elements from the original game are gone and that helps make the game more attractive.
3D effect is done very well
2 fishing holes
Map looks significantly better
Beaver race is glitchy if you don't hit circles exactly
Zora swimming has changed drastically
When sinking as a Zora,if you use your magic sheild you stop sinking
Aiming is slightly different just takes a bit getting use to
Overall though still an amazing game and definitely worth buying for any Zelda fan
WOW! Do I have to comment more? It's a Legend of Zelda of the greatest quality, like every single zelda game! Not to be missed!
Great game for feminists who don't want to rescus a dimsel in distress since there is no Zelda in this game.
The story is just some crazy skull kid who wants to bring the apocalypse because nobody like him.
Why Link want to save the day even if Termina is a parallel world to Hyrule? beat me, but you can play a Goron and a Zora so who cares.
I think they did a wonderful job with Majora's Mask and I recommend the game to everyone, fan or newby of this game.

Fantastic Remake. They updated the graphics to a nice degree, the game has aged really well and the improved graphics really showed it.Published 4 months ago by Kamos
Boring to finish another time this game. I think my childhood as really gone. I am 25yrs old now. I love the Zelda series but I can't enjoy it anymore. It's sad, really.Published 4 months ago by Marty L'Heureux
