HASH(0xa7725420) out of 5 stars it's great, but nowadays Oct. 30 2014

it's great, but nowadays, you can simply search on Google and find these places. Assuming you're on wi-fi or good data plan.

But this book was good when I was on the plane and didn't want to pay for internet access.

HASH(0xa77259e4) out of 5 stars Muy buena! Jan. 25 2013

Students and budget backpackers, take the Let's Go Europe with you if you want to have a cheap yet wonderful trip in Europe.
I am a student from UC Berkeley and just took a 2-month summer study abroad program in Guardamar del Segura in Spain and travelled around Spain, Lisbon, Amsterdam, Italy, Switzerland, and Paris for the past summer.
This book has been a greatttttttttttttttttttttttttt help to me in travel plan, directions, recommendations for accommodation and food, and everything about traveling in Europe.
This is probably the best decision I made before going to Europe other than deciding to go to Europe. :)

The only reason I didn't give it a five-star is that the prices listed for the sights are mostly out-of-date. Well, I think it might be the bad economical environments in Europe to blame.

But other than that, GREAT guide book for students and budget backpackers!

Great writing to give one a feeling of what to expect. Back in the early eighties, I would tear out the section of the book and carry in my backpack. Today, think I'll just load this book and Lonely Planet on my Kindle- is it even available? I'm not sure
