Product description

From Library Journal

Working in the tradition of American regional artists, Wilson uses his visual talents and mastery of lithography to depict the natural and constructed environment of his favorite place--Oklahoma. But Wilson's works serve important historical/documentary purposes as well. Many of the 118 lithographs reproduced here contain accurate images of a few remaining members of some of Oklahoma's diminishing Indian tribes. Hunt's introduction and Wilson's clear description of each lithograph and explanation of the lithographer's process greatly enhance this book. Recommended for larger public, academic, and museum libraries; highly recommended for libraries in the southwest.
