This set is full of poetry and short fiction written by the greats. I love the little format for reading in waiting rooms, when standing in a line, etc.

I like this collection of books and it arrived much faster than anticipated. It arrived May 31st and the estimated delivery was June 11th, so I was very pleased to see it arrive so fast.
I think the books are great if you only have 30 minutes a day to read something or you want to look at a book on your commute to work if you ride a bus or carpool. A wide variety of books and many different genres. Each book is something new. I think you will like it.

I absolutely adore the titles in this box set, but I was disappointed when I received it. The books are a lot smaller than expected and about 15 of them are narrower than the others so they sit weird in the box.
Also, the white Penguin logo on the spine of the books don’t line up straight, which is really annoying and is an eye-sore on your shelf. One of the books had major damage to the back cover and about three others were bent and folded.
Honestly, it wasn’t really worth the price.

Exactly like the described. The books were all accounted for and in good shape. The only drawback is the books are tightly packed so hard to get out without tilting the box. This is not a problem for me but might be difficult for someone else. That is the only thing keeping it from being 5 stars. The shipping was fast and reliable even during the COVID-19 pandemic. Would recommend.

This book contains literally everything. The first book I read was Buddhist scripture where I was encouraged to give up strong emotions and attachments to the world. The next was renaissance Italian fiction about a guy who gets ripped off by a hooker and then becomes a grave robber. You will not be bored with this series. Some of the books are not for everyone but that's to be expected.

It's really difficult to assign stars to this collection. Every single book in this collection is a treasure, a pleasure to read. But these 80 little lovely books are placed so tight in the box that it is literally impossible to take a single book out just using two fingers. You should put the box upside down for the books to come out, and then try to pick one of them. If you want to take the books regularly out of the box, it's better to put a few of them out of the box so you don't have to make that upside-down move every time. And, the cover designs have not been adapted for this boxed set: The penguins on the bindings are not aligned. However, this is a set any book-lover easily falls in love with :)

Books are good, but not aligned aesthetically
Reviewed in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 on January 8, 2023Verified Purchase
The books are fine, but the sides don’t line up properly, which is just wrong for a boxset. The case itself is also just bad quality and should be way sturdier for such a large number of books.

Ripassare un po’ di inglese in piccoli libri d’autore. Si unisce il contenuto allo studio.
