I highly recommend this book for anyone who is struggling to find happiness after any sort of loss, or for anyone trying to cope with depression or any difficult situation in life. The book delivers a wonderful story with a powerful message about seeing the beauty in life through the camera lens (which can translate into seeing the good and beauty in life through any positive outlet). The photography and photos are engaging and interesting and really beautiful. All around, really great book!

This book has a great message for everyone. Based on an actual photography club in Pinehouse SK, the book shows how youth being in nature and photographing it lifted their spirits and gave them hope. The background photographs by the photography club and the illustrations are wonderful. The addition of the text in Cree affirms the indigenous youth of Pinehouse who are the basis for the club and this book.
This book is well done. Everything about it is good and it is geared to young people. And the artwork and photos are done by youth in Pinehouse amazing work. I am a big fan of photography being used as therapy. I wish Dre Erwin and the kids of Pinehouse Photography all the best.
Dre you did an amazing job with this book. Beautifully done, the incorporation of the photographs is just genius. Relatable story, love that it is bilingual. Great book for youth, easy read and to understand the meaning of the story. Bravo 👏🏻 I

Awesome book! Awesome to read to a child, or even to yourself. The book is for all ages but directed to children. I know the author personally an I’d love to thank him for this book. All in all it’s an awesome go to book to read.
