Product Description

From the Studio

The fifth season of LITTLE MOSQUE ON THE PRAIRIE kicks off with a proposal. Rayyan (Sitara Hewitt) and Amaar (Zaib Shaikh) are planning their wedding—and encountering a few hiccups along the way. Meanwhile Reverend Thorne (Brandon Firla) finally falls in love with Mercy and its resident librarian. Sarah (Sheila McCarthy) is running Hamoudi construction solo, and Baber (Manoj Sood)… Well, Baber is just Baber. In fact, the whole gang is back, including special appearances by Reverend Magee (Derek McGrath) and Yasir (Carlo Rota).

This season (which should have been the last)gets its groove back after a disappointing season 4. Thorne has been reduced to a minor character rather than a major one, and with the return of Rev. McGee and Yasir for the last few episodes was a plus. A couple of new characters one a medical assistant for Rayann, and the new librarian and love interst for Thorne were welcome additions, and should have been continued. If you are a fan of the early show you will like this season of a groundbreaking show! That for some reason the United States is afraid to show.

Amazing!! Who would have thought that a rinky dink show about a mosque in the Prairies would be so amazing!! Hilarious, and thought provoking, this season was a great addition to the last four, especially with more Reverend Thorne to go around!!! Just awesome!

The show has had its ups (season 3),and downs (season 4), but I'm glad they're going out on a positive note. Will definitely buy season 6 as soon as it is available.
