The 2 thumb buttons are good. I would have made them a little bit closer to the palm maybe because the farther button is a bit more tricky to handle for me but it might just be my hand.
I wouldn't consider the top buttons usuable in a game situation. They're small and seems more like "setting" buttons than buttons you can use in a gaming situation.
If you're looking for a solid durable mouse that look great and will work perfectly for years, buy this, you will not regret it.
If you absolutly need all the buttons, I would check the other mouses. The 3 buttons near the mouse wheel are difficult to reach sometimes. They can be used however.
Personaly, I use the 2 thumbs buttons, wheel-click, L-click and R-click. I never use the 3 on top.
