Lose Weight without Dieting is an interesting read. The author talks about her total involvement with food. She grew up eating overly large portions. When she went away to college, she was eating on the run because of her schedule since she was in med school. She had put on an enormous amount of weight. She tried all the different diets before finding the one that helped her. She figured out by cutting out all the processed foods and eating real food she was able to lose weight. There are a few recipes in the back of the book that look yummy too! This is a good story for daily living while losing weight.

The very title of this book caught my attention instantly when I saw it. I despise the word 'diet' as do most people. The idea that anyone can lose weight without dieting is incredible. A large percentage of Americans are overweight today. People can become overweight for any number of reasons, such as depression, stress or a medical condition. I am personally quite overweight and understand firsthand how much being overweight directly impacts quality of life. Being able to lose weight without the chore of restrictive dieting is the equivalent of winning the lottery to an overweight person. The tips and techniques demonstrated in this book show just how easy it is to lose weight easily and without feeling deprived. Definitely a must read for anyone looking to take the pounds off.
