Lost Ones (Bad Idea Book 2) Kindle Edition
Six months ago, I gave my heart to a girl.
Beautiful, kind, and sexy as sin, she’s the only person who saw past my record or the color of my skin. Who ever saw me for me.
She loved me enough to let me go, let me leave this city to find my own path.
But without her, I drift, lost without direction.
Without me, she spirals, desperate for connection.
I gave my heart to a girl, and she gave hers to me.
But love shouldn’t hurt this much.

Really really great read,,,loved it
Wow is all I can say right now about this book. Nicole French has done it again with book two of the Bad Idea series. She has once again taken us on an emotional journey with Layla and Nico. The variations of emotions she makes you feel as you read is outstanding. The heart wrenching pain that makes us want to cry because our hearts are breaking for these characters. The joy we feel at moments make us want to cheer. As I read through the painful parts that Nicole makes us feel I couldn't help but wish for a HEA for these characters that we've become invested in while reading this series. I've finished reading and yet my heart is still broken, yet filled with so much joy for Layla and Nico. If I could rate this as more than a 5 star I would and I highly recommend that everyone reads the Bad Idea series.
This book starts about 2 months after they have separated. Although their lives took them in different directions Nico and Layla stay in touch. Their story is one full of emotions. At times I found myself upset with the both of them and the decision they made. Yet, I could understand why they made them. I was super saddened by some of the situations Layla finds herself in. My heart broke for her and I most definitely cried. Through it all though I felt hopeful that Layla and Nico’s undying love for each other would eventually bring them back to one another.

I love the emotion flowing through this story and want them to be together but once again terrifying events for Layla prevents this from happening even though Nicos life is changing for the better.
This book has really sucked me in and I can't wait to read the final instalment
Layla and Nico are outstanding characters, trying desperately to navigate their way through their daily lives, knowing that they can't be together, but are lost when they're apart. Their struggles are real, the emotions and desires even more so. Layla's world is shattered and no matter how she tries to cope or fix it, she fails. The traumas that she undergoes, at the hand of another, broke my heart. Nico is a man who continually shows his strength and love. He is an amazing man who will do just about anything for the woman that he loves - even keeping secrets. These two really belong together - but it is stubbornness and dreams that often interfere. So often it is said, in order to truly understand love we must set that who we love free in hope they will return - this is definitely true for Layla and Nico.
A stunning story that had me inexplicably trapped from beginning to end. Cannot wait to see where Ms French takes this story next. Once again an absolutely highly recommended read.
