PRAISE FOR HOLLYWOOD DIRT
"Torre's contemporary romance is a true hit." "RT Book Reviews"
"Hollywood Dirt was the real thing pure contemporary romance at its finest. Effortlessly told, entertaining, and so very swoon-worthy. It's not to be missed!!!" Kim Karr, "New York Times" bestselling author
PRAISE FOR THE GIRL IN 6E
""The Girl in 6E" uniquely twisted and captivates from the beginning. The premise is entirely original, as are the characters and the pacing. The main character may be a cold killer, but inside is a woman with a soul who sacrifices everything to keep from unleashing herself on the world.... Torre has written a beautifully warped thriller that will be staying with this reviewer for a long time to come." "RT Book Reviews," Top Pick! (4.5 stars)
"A.R. Torre's "The Girl in 6E" lifts the veil on the dark, erotic world of camming, but the book contains so many more surprises than that. At the novel's core, a tender heart beats, and the increasingly suspenseful pages fly by as its deepest secrets are revealed. This is a taut, edgy, thrill ride, powerfully gripping and impossible to turn away from." David Bell, author of "Never Come Back" and "Cemetery Girl"
"An incredible debut. Gritty, unique, primal, full of angst, oddly feminist, and right up my alley. "The Girl in 6E" deviates from formulaic romance to deliver something truly special and worthy of praise and attention. A dark soul like me isn't often surprised by controversy or taboo subject matter, but this book delivers and I'll be reading more A.R. Torre books in the future. Kudos!" CJ Roberts, "New York Times" and "USA Today" bestselling author of "The Dark Duet"
"Dark, edgy, and thrilling in a completely unexpected way." Lisa Renee Jones, "New York Times" bestselling author of The Inside Out series

What a fun novel! Written about Chloe, a rich girl turned broke in the Big Apple.

This was just so much fun to read, through her drama, heartbreak and falling in love I enjoyed every second. It was light weight but still had character development, an interesting story line and a little bit of a fairy tale feel.

Loved the novel, it was a perfect casual read!

Now that's what I call a chick lit done AT way!

I've been a fan of AT now for a while. She writes it, I read it. Of late, I find that her stories have been a departure from the older ones I've come to love, including this one, but you ain't hear me complaining. It just goes to show that AT can write whatever she puts her mind to.

What started out a series in the Cosmo website, Love, Chloe has turned into a full blown book, which I'm glad to see. Because while I subscribed to that series by AT, I didn't always get the chance to read every single one of them. So I'm glad I got the chance to read about Chloe in one sitting, so to speak.

To me, this is like Candace Bushnell meet Helen Fielding meet NA version of Gossip Girl all in a Cinderella-esque way. I got the Sex-in-the-City feel with a touch of Bridget-Jones neuroticism.

Chloe was a socialite princess who's fallen of the society ladder due to her parents' actions and because of that, Chloe was forced to live the life of a plebeian, saddled with normal problems like finding/keeping a job and paying bills and putting a roof over her head. As she's fixing her life, she's dealing with an ex who just won't give up, an employer with more issues than National Geographic, and a new man who's unlike any man she's dated before. Along the way, she's got her friends helping her and made new ones just to add more flavor.

I LOVE seeing Chloe's growth from beginning to end.

I LOVE Chloe's humorous self-deprecating and very insightful thoughts.

I LOVE the titles of each chapter. And this is coming from someone who normally doesn't pay attention to such things.

I LOVE the IG posts. AT nailed it, I thought.

I LOVE the fashion references. A gal after my own heart.

**Spoilers**

One of the things I loved about the book was how the author kept you guessing on who would be the guy she would date. It's not like most books where you go into the book already knowing who the name main man of the book will be. I know I wanted her to be with Carter and I was glad that none of those other kisses worked out. Seriously Carter won my heart from the beginning.

I liked it. The beginning I loved and I do like the ending. I just thought the book was going in another direction. I like how the story played out and Carter. I kind of wished there could have been more scenes where I could fall in love with Carter just in how he interacted with Chloe. The main character narrated her life which really allowed you to get into her head, but I would have loved for a scene where you saw her love grow for him. A night of no drama (or maybe a little at the end) where you saw her fall for him. Or throw in some hot and heavy teasing scenes between the two characters before they started sleeping together to get the anticipation for when they finally do.

Its still a funny, flirty, and great read. I would recommend definitely giving it a read!

What can I say about this book that will convince you to read it? Well, at first you might think the m/c Chloe is a shallow, pampered "princess" and in some ways she is, but when her rich parents get in legal troubles, Chloe is forced to grow up emotionally and become independant! Her journey is not an easy one, but there is comic relief that had me laughing out loud many times and had you feeling her struggles too! She definitely comes out on top in this "coming of age" so to speak story!! I highly recommend it! :-))
