About the Author
Historical Romance author Lily Baldwin loves writing, Scotland, her wonderful husband and beautiful young daughter--though not necessarily in that order. She has a BA in anthropology from the University of New Hampshire, and an MA in International Studies from Birmingham University in the UK. She daydreams constantly, and gets her best story ideas while running; she is even training for a half-marathon. She also finds inspiration in Nature, a quality revealed through the powerful description and drama in her books. Currently TO BEWITCH A HIGHLANDER and HIGHLAND THUNDER (Books 1 & 2 of the Isle of Mull series) are available, and Lily is at work on the third book in the series--TO LOVE A WARRIOR--which is available for Pre-order now! She is also a GUARDIANS OF CRIDHE author. She lives in New England with her cherished husband and daughter.

Because this author is a very talented writer, this novel was a delight to read, it's very well written with some touch of humor. I was not disappointed, I truly recommend it, I also suggest that you read her first two books To Bewitch a Highlander then Highland Thunder. It's a marvelous Scottish adventure to get trapped in! Beautiful conclusion!

I thoroughly enjoyed this third book in the trilogy. It was very satisfying to read more about Bridget and Ronan (Nellore's grandparents), and Brenna and Duncan (Nellore's parents), and to see how Nellore related with each one. The story took a twist when the clan needed protection from the attacking McLeans and it was interesting in the way the author used the impending attack to wrap up a mystery that was started in the first book of the trilogy. I loved the plot, loved how she worked things out, and can't wait to read more of her work!
The h is feisty, strong women who has the skill of a warrior. She doesn't come across as a know it all, but someone who wants to protect those she loves. The relationship between our H/h was believable and loving. They are apart because of war, but as the saying goes, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
The lovemaking is very mild, and there is romance that builds first. We get HEA, suspenseful ending and a great end to the series. ljb
