i would like to start by saying, that my dad, Tim Griggs, wrote this book...so maybe my opinion is biased. however, i was there for the 5 years that him and Lori Horton poured their hearts and souls into the creation. if you call this book a disgrace to Mr.Horton..then you really do not know much. not to be rude..but do you have any idea how many interviews were conducted..how many photos dug up..how many hours my father AND lori put into making this biography? apparently not. every word from start to finish is 100% Tim. my grandfather, Tim Horton's lifelong friend..was honored that this book was so wonderfully written by two freelance writers. if you have any REAL criticisms..besides simply calling this book a "disgrace" as you put it..please feel free to e-mail me at kylie__loves__you@hotmail.com (double underscores) because i mean...give me a break. you're "review" as some may call it is more of a disgrace to writing than the book you're criticising.

hey Kylie-this may be a little late but after reading that mans review I have to wonder if he read the same book we did. I thought it was great. I think if you read between the lines your dad and Lori tried to be honest without going into unneeded detail that their life wasn't perfect. I may be a biased Buffalo and Tim Horton fan -
but THIS BOOK WAS EXCELLENT! Real simple if you liked Tim Horton ( the man ) you are going to like this book-PERIOD.

The book of In loving Memory was written by how Tim Hortons life really was and you could tell it was from the heart. The other review that says it is a disgrace should get a life or learn hockey. Tim Horton as his wife writes was a very good human being and I think she did a wonderful job.

I thought that this book was a disgrace to Tim Horton, his chain of coffee shops, AND to the sport of hockey. I forced myself to turn each page, hoping against hope that this book would get better, but it never did. I lost three hours of my life and precious memory cells. don't make the same mistake I did.
