I bought a used cd, and it was scratch free, but unfortuantly the colour looked faded off on disc. The art work was near new conditioned but the actual jewel case had scratches and blur with the price sticker still on.

This is a Maxi CD from the time when Manson singles still used to be great. The original song is one of the very best from Portrait of an American Family (What Manson fan didn't find him/herself wandering through the streets singing 'I've got my Lunchbox and I'm armed real well'?). The remixes are done by Charlie Clouser, and that already says it all. Clouser (NIN- and White-Zombie-keyboarder) is one of the best remixers around, and so Next Motherf***er, Brown Bag, and Metal are all great (though they do sound a bit alike, admittedly). Highschool Drop-Outs is not a remix, but just the censored radio version, and I guess it's rather a joke it landed on this single. The true highlight, however, is the new song Down in the Park, a Gary Newman cover version which is much more mature than many others on the Portrait CD, and the best Manson song from the early years. Amazon.com only lists four tracks, however the 6-track version is the only one I know. Four or six, get it!

"Lunchbox" is a classic Manson song. No one can deny that. The first remix is phenomenal as well. "Down In The Park" however left me feeling very unfulfilled. When I took out the CD I didn't even remember a single beat, guitar riff, or catchy anything. It left no lasting impressions. The reason this CD gets 2 stars taken away is because the 3 remixes sound way too much alike. The first remix [as I mentioned before] is the best and the others sound too similar to gain my respect. I would only buy this CD if you find it at a good price.

This could perhaps be ranked as the coolest Manson single ever. The song "Lunchbox" is one of my favourite songs, and the remixes done on the record are pretty good. What really makes this single stand out is the song "Down In The Park", which is one my favourite Manson songs. The only thing keeping this single out of the 5 star rank is the lack of variety of songs, seeing as how there is really only two different songs on the record, "Lunchbox" +remixes, and "Down In The Park."

Lunch box, is a work of art by the best singer in the world, Marilyn Manson. He should be nominated for best original songs, and best preformer. This cd has 6 great songs and Lunchbox is one of them. Lunchbox has a great tune and lyrics, listen to it very closely and you will no what the heck he is talking about. But this cd's best song isn't Lunchbox its Down in the Park. It is a Manson remake, Gary Numan wrote the song originally in 1979. Please buy this cd it really is sincere work.

This cd is pretty good, the single for Lunchbox (which is one of Manson's best songs) contains 4 remixes and 1 b-side.
Lunchbox - Obviously one of manson's best. Great Song. 5/5
Next Motherf*cker Remix - Probably the best remix i've heard. 4/5
Down In The Park - AMAZING b-side and a great cover of Gary Numan's Song - 4.5/5
Brown Bag Remix - One of the Worst remixes on the cd, not TERRIBLE but just ok.......2.5/5
Metal Remix - Pretty bad remix :( this one is the worst here - 1.5/5
High School Dropouts - A censored version of the song. I personally HATE censorship and "clean" songs. Therefore i despised this song 0/5

Overall, if you are good fan of Manson, it's worth it for Down in The Park, but you get 1 great remix and another ok one.

This is a great CD! Lunchbox was a good song on POAAF, but it really is Down In The Park that makes this EP great. If the fact that Manson made this disc isn't enough to make you want to run out and buy it, let Down In The Park persuade you into it. I know I probably sound like a cheesy ad, but this is one CD a true Manson fan could never live without.

one of the few singles well worth it, 4 songs that were only released on this single. the 3 remixes of lunchbox (next mofo, brown bag and metal) Give this classic manson song a funky new twist. and the cover of Down in the Park, is one that lives up to Gary Newman's origional.
