This product works amazingly! Having some back issues, this product helps ease the paid caused by intensive workouts. I mainly use this foam roller before and after workouts to make sure I do not injure myself too severely. Learning how to use one at first was not very difficult. You could easily pick up the skills by watching YouTube tutorials. I first bought this product after having sharp pains in my back after running every morning. After frequent use, the pain subsided and helped get rid of knots. I bought the large size, which is more definitely helpful for doing whole body stretches.This product felt great, stretching out places I did not could be stretched. I bought this roller after my nervous dog chewed up my last one during a thunderstorm. It worked out really because my last one was a travel sized roller and my fiance needed a longer roller to do some physical therapy on his back. We ordered the longest one we could as he is 6 ft 4 in. His doctor recommended that he get a large enough roller to lay on with his head and his tail bone on the roller. This one was the perfect size for him to do his PT exercises on. The foam material is dense and sturdy the way a roller should be for these types of exercises. If you have never used a roller before, be warned it can hurt when you roll over a stubborn knot in your muscles but it really does a great job about getting those out. It is very similar to getting a deep tissue massage. After a few months of my fiance using it, his back is feeling much better. I have not seen any warping or compressing of the foam material either and considering my fiance is close to 300 lbs I am definitely impressed at how it has held up. Considering how expensive physical therapy and chiropractors can be, this foam roller is a steal for the results. Make sure to check out some exercises from reputable sources like physical therapists to know how to use this properly and it will be a godsend for you.
