I received my mars hydro ts1000 light about ten days ago
Before this i was using a 200 watt CFL. It worked fine for my cannabis plants, but since switching to the mars hydro ts1000, after reviewing some old photos, I've noticed much better growth, and it even consumes 50 watts less than my CFL light !
The light output on these things are crazy, I looked at it when I first plugged it in and almost went blind lol so be careful guys. I recommend buying some LED protective grow light glasses if working around the light when it is in use.
These newer models come with the dimmer switch built on the light I wasnt expecting that so that was nice to find.
But at first the dimmer switch did nothing
I called amazon customer service and before i could speak with someone i tried the dimmer again, and it randomly started working, so just be mindful that the light may have to run for a bit before it takes effect but it does work guys!
I love this light so much, but I have a 3x3 tent so I'm moving this light to my veg room instead and I ordered myself a tsw2000 to fit in my 3x3 tent as that will fill it up.
The ts1000 flowers up to a 2x2 tent so if you have a 3x3 or even 4x4 spce, a tsw2000 would be sufficient .
I hung it at 12 inches for flowering and got some LED burn, so if flowering cannabis i reccomend hanging between 14 and 16 inches (as high as 18)
I run it at 14 inches and havent had anymore light burn issues
Just dont believe they're "3year hassle free warranty " as they call it in the description
They only have a full warranty for 3 months, then the next like 9 months they will do all repairs if you pay return shipping, then the last 2 years you pay all shipping and repairs and they cover parts.
Its something similar to that, if you ask me it's a very misleading warranty and sucks lol but hey the light seems awesome and super bright and well built.
Also, the PAR value is much higher on mars hydro then other brands I've looked up like spider farmer, viparspectra etc, which is what also persuaded my decision to go with mars hydro.

PS. The timer they gave me doesnt really work, it turns off at the correct time, then turns back on when I set it too, but then randomly back off and stays off.. so I wouldnt rely on it and I'd buy a digital timer just as I did(they work great)
I coulda got a defective one who knows..

...luv the dimmer
....i had a mars hyd before light before.....man i grew sum amazing plants. the limbs were all bud...bout 3 feet of em. crazy.....8 limbs per plant...but it was a pink output....so hard to cover/hide.....this new one is clear. n the dimmir is new my last one ...not there suked...i need to dim n look. so this light is 4 me....

I found that these lights are the best right now in wattage and in coverage. There’s similar ones they are lower wattage, but Mars Hydro always makes good products as you can see. I’ve been using Hydro bars, but those are unavailable or else I would’ve bought two more of those bars. We will see the outcome so far. The plants look very happy with the light.
