Product description

Season: Perennial/Annual Height: 8-10 Feet (Viving) Bloom Season: Summer/Fall Environment: Full Sun/Dry/Moist Zones: 9-11 (As Perennial) All Regions of North America (As Annual) Morning Glory Heavenly Blue Ipomoea Tricolor is a lovely old-fashioned vining flower available and it is native to tropical areas of Mexico, Central and South America. The plant is tender perennial vine with large, heart shaped, bright green leaves and showy, trumpet shaped heavenly blue flowers. Flowers are prolific and downright gorgeous, and the vine is immensely versatile as an ornamental. Morning Glory Heavenly Blue Ipomoea Tricolor is usually grown as an annual vine and the plant is excellent re-seeder - if you plant it once you may never have to plant it again. In warm to hot weather, a young plant or seedling can grow prodigiously and cover an arbor, fence, trellis or other support in record time. The plant is invaluable for covering an unsightly fence or creating seasonal screening as a living wall. Ease of cultivation and speed of growth provide quick gratification to the impatient gardener. For this reason, morning glories are recommended for a child's gardening project. This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies and birds. We do not ship these seeds to Australia and New Zealand. PLANTING Sow Inside: Before last frost Sow Outside: Spring after last frost. Soak seeds overnight in tepid water before sowing. Seed Depth: 1/8" Days to Emerge: 14-21
