Product description

MOSS ROSE RED Portulaca Grandiflora - 1,250 Bulk Seeds Moss Rose Red Portulaca Grandiflora is an annual flowering plant native to Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay. Moss Rose Red seeds do not need any special treatment prior sowing, and if the seeds are started indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost, the plant can be established earlier for prolonged flowering period. Portulaca Grandiflora is a low to the ground, spreading succulent plant with a moss-like, dense foliage and showy, fragrant, fully double, red flowers. Moss Rose Red blooms continuously in summer and fall. Moss Rose Red is one of the best reseeding annuals for rock gardens, and if planted in mass Portulaca Grandiflora makes an amazing ground cover. Moss Rose is often planted along walkways, in containers, hanging baskets, or over stone walls. Portulaca Grandiflora seeds are one of the easiest and fastest to germinate, and once established Moss Rose likes to grow in full sun tolerating extreme heat, drought and poor soil.
