Listen guys, this video card is an absolute beast! Runs BF3 on ULTRA! Understand that a good cpu will be needed for this game to run (quad core) but this card is amazing! The MSI Afterburner allows for easy overclocking past what it comes overclocked with. I didn't touch mine because once I saw it could run BF3 on everything ULTRA I didn't see a reason for it to OC anymore. This card is rather large, so make sure you look at the specs to make sure it will fit! This card is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a investment to run games in the future and is a moderate to avid gamer. Someone said something about the drivers being and issue, but I had no issue. Oh, and I have good airflow in my case and this only runs about 55-60C on ULTRA for BF3. It stays cool (by GPU standards) and is well... AMAZING!

I needed a GPU solution capable of outputting to three full HD displays for a total resolution of 5760x1080. Due to this high resolution across three monitors, VRAM was critical which is why I settled on this 2GB card as opposed to a higher-end 1GB card. The reasonable price of these cards allowed me to order a pair and set them up in SLI. I expected only moderate performance (read: framerate) due to my "extreme" resolution and the fact that this processor is over one year old now. In fact, I was blown away by the performance of these cards, as well as their overclocking headroom and low temperatures. There is some confusion online about these cards having VRAM issues. Allow me to assure you that these cards have been revised and now feature a VRAM heatsink as well as a strengthening bracket which reduces sagging.

I currently run both cards at 975MHz core clock and the cards stay well below 70C in a 20C ambient environment. My games give me a conservative 40-60 FPS on highest settings with no/low AA or AF. The framerate is always consistent with no lags, artifacts, or general instability. I have heard of people running these at 1GHz with no stability or temperature problems, however I don't see this as necessary. Most of the usable/noticeable performance increases will be lost after the ~950MHz mark (IMHO).

A note on overclocking: My experiences may be better or worse than someone else with an identical card or pair of cards. While I think I can safely say that everyone who buys this card will be able to pull an extra 20-30MHz extra from their core clock at least, understand that there is no guarantee to what kind of results you will get and that you do so at your own risk. If you plan on OCing, using the MSI Afterburner utility is a must. It's great software and it comes with the cards on a CD.

Purchased this card refurbished through the Amazon seller Better Choice Online. I sent them questions about the product ahead of time and they answers quickly and thoroughly. Ordered the card, and it came packaged in MSI Refubished packaging with driver disk. Being refurbished, this unit doesn't come with any cables, paper manuals or SLI bridges, just the card and the drivers. This worked out fine for me because I needed it to set up with my other MSI 560GTX TI 2GB card to run my system in SLI to boost my video performance for the latest games coming out. Setup worked fine and all so far works great. Card came very clean, looking brand new. NVidia Configuration had no issues with enabling SLI mode once card was installed. Tested on a few games but one that is a big performance boost with the 2nd card is Crysis 3. Before I was unable to really play game at Very High setting as I was only getting about 20-30FPS in campaign game mode. With the addition of the 2nd card in SLI, I now can play at highest game graphics settings and still get between 70-90FPS gameplay...2nd card is doing just what I wanted. Card may be refurbished, but works great, was a great price and extends the life of my system enabling me to still play the latest games out now and to come soon without having to build a whole new system. If you are running one of these cards, and your board can do SLI, it is highly recommended to get a 2nd card here and set up your SLI to extend the life of your gaming pc too.

I was somewhat skeptical about buying this card when the only difference with the one I replaced it with was the amount of ram on the card. The previous was the exact same card just half the ram. Even sli I couldn't max out the graphics on newer games.

Could not understand why when my computer specs are: AMD 3.7 quad cpu/ 16 GB of ram/ and a 1000 watt power-supply

With this one I am now able to run "all" games without a hitch. Games such as Batman AC and Rage I am now able to play on max settings.

I have noticed an issue with the 296.10 invidia drivers glitching out but I reverted back to the 295.73 version and all was well in the world. So I put that on invidia. All in all the cards work, no real issues to speak of.

With the price drop, this card is more than worth it! Any issues you may get off the bat would most likely mean you received a defective product and its not worth giving up on this card completely. Just send it back and get a replacement. So far as I can tell, MSI makes some pretty good hardware. I'm pleased with the card, if you haven't already noticed ;]

ok so im pretty new in the PC building department but im a freak, and research everything untill im blue in the face. my first video card was a 9600 gt. not mutch but it got me into gaming. it kept me on my toes trying to run newer games, benchmarking, tweaking, and testing, so i figured it was time to buy a real gpu but still on a tight budget. so on my first build i bought an asus 560 ti 1gb 925 stock clock. 338 cuda core. p.s. i think cuda core count is most important in a gpu. it was sufficient for call of duty mw3 and most anything i could throw at it. then bf3 comes out and can use more than 1gb vram. so adding another video card would still run out of vram causing little hangups. so i research and research decide that this card was best for me. so far it is amazing. oc to 957 and it has never reached 63 c. it has a few more cuda cores and enough memory for the next few years of upcoming games. i like it. infact i have one on the way for sli. MSI all the way.
