Authentic Fighting Game Layout
Certain fighters prefer dishing out beatdowns with a controller’s D-Pad, while others prefer the feel of an analog stick. Either way, FightStick PRO has your back. And if you’re in the latter camp, you can use a handy switch that enables the stick to emulate your choice of left or right analog stick on a traditional gamepad.
8 Directions of Attack
FightPad PRO’s eight-way D-Pad is custom-crafted for fighting games. Intricate motions are easier to perform compared to standard D-Pads. This provides a distinct advantage over traditional controllers and helps you hurl fireballs with ease. Hadoken!
Switch it Up
Six action buttons are great, but sometimes you need a couple more. That’s exactly when the utility switch comes into play. You can set it to create different configurations of trigger and shoulder button functionality. This frees you to focus on character control with your left hand, and easily access all eight action buttons with your right.
Keep in Touch
FightPad PRO’s touchpad gives you press, swipe, and multi-touch access to special in-game options. Now you can take full advantage of all the supplemental controls Street Fighter V has to offer.
Compatible with ALL Major Fighting Games
Whether it’s an old favorite or an upcoming title that you’re patiently waiting for, FightPad PRO is ready to K.O. the competition.

Here is the best advice if you're a noob though if you are playing on keyboard/ps4 pad: if you're trying to perform a combo and you're not seeing counter rise, press buttons faster. However, if you are performing a combo and you're not seeing the counter rise nor the animation of the finishing moves, slow. the. f##$. down. Most people playing on pads think they are pressing it too slow and need stick, what they don't realize once the muscle memory in your fingers kicks in is that they are pressing the buttons too fast. Slow. The. F#$%. Down.
You should still get a stick though ;)
One more thing, don't mess around with LS-DP-RS and PS3-PS4 switches when the unit is powered up. Mine got locked and couldn't use half the keys, had to send it to madcats for replacement new unit came back, fast no problems great customer service.
I then looked closer at the reviews and the positive ones are all for different Mad Catz arcade sticks, not sure why they are linked to this product.
As for the stick itself it works great; I can't complain about how it feels or works on a technical aspect.
I took 1 star off for the fairly outrageous price, and another off for the sub par condition my stick arrived in.
~$100 dollars cheaper
More solid feeling
Cool black gold design
Customizable Artwork easier to access
Surface Area is bigger
Screw in USB cord
After reading many other reviews, I noted that there were some complaints for the TE2 regarding the hollow feeling of the stick, creaking, plus to store the cord you open up the stick and place it inside.
So as I had the PS3 MvC Madcatz stick, I went with the TES.
It is very high quality. All the buttons feel great to press. If you're a fighting game fan, learning the fightstick is well worth it.
NOTE: The joystick's gate is adjustable. Can go from square to circular, so you don't have to buy another piece if you'd like to change it from the default square.
This was not noted anywhere, and I just happened upon it.
It's a bit tricky to pull the adjustable piece out, but fiddle with it and you'll see.
The price is steep, but at the pre-order price, it was OK, I still think these should all be in the $100 range. It's just a joystick.
However, i still think that the price being charged is around 30% more than it should be, considering the fact that you can get a Hori VLX premium Rap 4 for the same price. I own both and there is a considerable difference in build quality.
If you are a die hard fan of street fighter (like me), than the money does not matter, Rationally however, i would never spend around $400 dollars for this product when there are some seriously better quality products around at the same price.
