My husband has the ability to read lengthy biographical tomes. I have never really taken to such dedicated reading but have often wanted to know more about the historical figures he reads about. This book has afforded me that opportunity. It is well written and illustrated, and provides a good level of information on the subject matter.

This book is not only suitable for kids but for adults like me too

An excellent read, such an inspirational man. I will certainly be looking out for more in this series

I grabbed this book for my son and ended up reading it myself as well. Very well put together, and it flows well unlike some other biographies. Overall, while it is simplified, it is very informative and gives a nice outline of Dr. King's life. Definitely recommend for any school projects, or even if you're just curious!

I've heard of Martin Luther King, Jr., but do not know who he really is. I have a better understanding now & know why he impacted so many people. It is easy to understand too, especially for kids. Great read!
HASH(0xa3bc89fc) out of 5 stars Hard facts and Inspirational! March 7 2014
By Chris Graham - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Some may say that the facts are too hard and the inclusion of Martin Luther Kings religious beliefs are too much for children.

The facts are hard because they happened recently, in an age with atitudes many would like to forget ever existed, but exist they did and they are now part of the history of the human race.

If our children are not educated about things like this, history may repeat itself - something I personally would not like to see happen.

I salute the author(s) of this book and their efforts to provide such factual information.
