Again, this package is a great value and an excellent way to play and experience one of gamings greatest trilogy of RPGs. The series as a whole is filled with great action (starting with ME2, as ME1 is a bit rough in combat), great art design, an amazing and immersive sci-fi universe, top notch writing, and a huge cast of memorable characters. The game is noteable for letting the player carry over save files from one game to the next, allowing your character and decisions and those outcomes to transfer over.
Now it should be noted that while this game includes all three base games, it does not feature all the DLC and add-on content. This trilogy (note: this is for the PS3 version, as the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions all have varying DLC content)
Mass Effect: Has the original game and it's two pieces of DLC. Nothing missing.
Mass effect 2: Has all the expansion DLCs on disc (which feature their own story line with several hours of gameplay and new weapons) as well as the character Kasumi (a DLC only character who will only appear in ME3 if this DLC is played). You are given a code as well for the Cerberus Network to download from the PSN store, this will give you one more DLC character and a few minor pieces of content (mostly weapons and gear). On a personal note, all included content is great except for Firewalker, which I recomment skipping if you do not enjoy it. The plot is minimal.
There are quite a few pieces of DLC weapons and armor not in this collection, but they are cheap to buy and not at all necessary to enjoy the game.
Mass Effect 3: This package basically has none of the DLC on disc for ME3, as the trilogy collection was for those that have not yet played the series to get into it after ME3's release. ME3 has a couple of expansions that are very much worth buying and playing, as even with the cost of DLC the low price of the collection now makes it still very affordable. Like in ME2 there are also a lot of not necessary DLC consisting of weapons and armor (pls note that weapon and armor DLC are all labeled 'singleplayer' and 'multiplayer' as weapons from a singleplayer pack are only unlocked for the games singlplayer story mode and not the wave-based multiplayer).

A friend of mine suggested this series for me and I can't thank him enough! Seeing how your choices affect the story so far is just amazing.
As for the infamous uproar about the ending of the trilogy, don't give too much thought about it. I found the ending very sufficient (of course with extended cut DLC). Yeah you could sense a bit of laziness in the execution of the endings but the implications are vastly different.
I see myself replaying the series and doing multiple runs to see how things will run given the different choices. I already do that on a micro-level when an event seems interesting so I just load and redo the scene and I am pretty sure you would.
You also get some of the DLCs with the trilogy so that's a plus (ME1 & ME2 only)
If you are a fan of RPG, get this! It's got one hell of a story.

An excellent product for collectors. I already had all these games on origin and played them on pc before(at least 6 times for each game). After i got a ps3 for some missed exclusives from last gen, decided to get this for the sake of collection(physical copy). No regrets as the games still feel amazing. One point to note is the first one at least is super laggy at times, but I ignore it just cause its that good a game. Includes a lot of the dlcs for 1st and 2nd but only the extended cut free dlc for the third one. So to get the full enjoyment of all dlcs, you have to fork over an additional 60 CAD for all dlcs for ME3.

Not my most favourite type of game, but this is my first time playing it and I haven't played that much of it yet. I think I'm going to put the difficulty level down a bit just to make it easier on myself for the first time around so it will be a little more fun.
I don't like the controls, even after changing them, I think they really suck, but other then that, great story line, great game. This came in perfect condition, but when playing the first game, I did notice during a cut scene the audio cut out for maybe two seconds.

The product came in great condition. It works great. However, it says that there should be a promotional redeem code that comes with every new game, and my copy didn't come with one. Do you have it?

Arrived on time not damaged. Nice to have all three in one spot in a pretty case ready for playing for hours on end.

Love the dragon age games, so knew I wanted to play ME some day. Have been saving this trilogy for years like a fine wine (also, was hoping for a PS4 remaster that never happened). Finally decided to bust out the PS3 and experience these games in late 2015. Definitely lives up to the hype. Very emotional and engaging stories mixed with fun FPS play style. Can't wait for andromeda.
