It definitely covers the basics that any actor should know. The CD audio interview is the best part of the whole book.

This books is a plus for any actor's library! With a thorough explanation of how to build your performance, it is written in an easy to read style. It includes a CD, and information about working as an actor, and even doing scene work. It's not just a MONOLOGUE book, but an ACTING book. As a professor of Solo Performance at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood for 8 years, I highly recommend it!
