About the Author

Beat Richner est né en 1947. Il a été médecin assistant dans l'hôpital pédiatrique "Kantha Bopha " à Phnom Penh en 1974. Contraint de fuir précipitamment le pays en 1975 lors de la prise du pouvoir par les Khmers rouges, il ouvre un cabinet de pédiatrie à Zurich. En 1991, il retourne au Cambodge pour se consacrer entièrement à la reconstruction de "son " ancien hôpital. Il en ouvrira encore un autre à Angkor pour desservir le nord du pays.
