    It’s amazing all the benefits your mind and body obtain from meditation. This is a very well written book on meditation, its benefits and the different types. The author does a beautiful job of helping you understand how to meditate so you can get started right away and reduce the anxiety and stress in your life. The author gives a variety of different types and elements of meditation to suite your lifestyle.     This short meditation ebook dives into what is meditation, how does it work,the history of it, how to overcome obstacles to meditate and more. I liked that the book actually had scientific research to back up how meditation works and why. I've been studying it for the last month or so. Though I've only started doing it for 5 minutes a day I can easily see how at the end of the day it still provides benefits for me. Decreased stress and anxiety, a sense of peace and calmness, and the ability to handle the occasional argument with my spouse while at ease! I can only imagine the extra benefits that would occur if I start devoting myself to it for 15-30 mins a day and more! I'm going to try the trick about squeezing my eyes shut several times, opening wide, and staring straight ahead. whatever works to get me focused!

    My job has been causing me more stress than usual and I needed an outlet for that stress. I have read a few books on Meditation, but this one is by far the best. The author starts with a brief history of meditation which is fascinating, then moves into how meditation works with your mind and body. I have found that walking meditation is particularly soothing. The author explains how to do each type of meditation, how to prepare yourself and the benefits. I highly recommend this book! I feel so much better every day!

    Good quick read on the basics of meditation. Covered basic questions I had about the types of meditation, and how to get started. I was looking at spending lots of money on transcendental meditation courses, not really realizing I can simply get started on my own with only basic understanding.
