I thought this was a plastic stacking toy, but it's cardboard! Read the description carefully. This is too expensive for a box of boxes!

I know, I know. It says right in the description that it's cardboard. I read the description for the animal stacking blocks (wooden) and then accidentally bought these ones. The colours are nice but being made out of cheap cardboard, the quality just isn't there. Plus, with a wooden toy it's nice and muted, this is shiny to the point that it's just too loud and vibrant. Not impressed at all with it. Oh well.

This is made of cardboard, but it is quite durable. My 14 month old is fascinated with practicing to put smaller boxes into larger ones (nesting) and is also enjoying trying to stack them. Lots of opportunity for learning (numbers, letters, colours, animals) They end up all over the house, but he loves it!

It is handled without protection and the box is damaged before arrives.
Moreover it is very easy to break for children of that age. Life time is about three days.
The decorated paper with letters and animals are easily detached from each bucket.

I thought the blocks would be plastic not cardboard. The durability of this product was not made for a child. this product will not last us long:(

This product is cardboard and my 1 yr old almost destroyed all the "blocks" in a couple weeks. Buy the wooden blocks instead.

Got these for my son, he loves them! Good but for the money, and great quality.

Edit: so as stated before I have a son, and these were great to begin with. They're beautifully designed and stack nice and neatly when done playing but! They break easily. They're made of cardboard and part of how my son likes to play is building them up and then smashing the tower down and proceeding to be a dinosaur or some kind of monster and stepping through them. I've had to tape most of them. And now I'm just giving up and throwing them out. They are good but not so great when they get to the rough crazy toddler stage. So for that I'm knocking it down to two stars, because for a kids toy, it did not withstand the kid test of time. Also he spilled juice on one and that one just got thrown out after it warped horribly and started falling apart

These have been through 3 of my kids and I'll probably recycle them soon. I like them better than the wooden ones because they are much softer so they don't dent my floors or cause any injuries.
