A voyeristic look into life in the 70's and 80's to the present day. A social history. seen through the eyes of the author this compelling book allows the reader to laugh and cry along with him. The aches and pains of a sometimes misspent youth, growing up in a suburb of Bristol in the South West of England.
M.E. Lewis born January 1963 in a suburb of Bristol in the United Kingdom, has spent most of his adulthood in the music industry as a recording artist, promoter, and record label. Interests include history, Egyptology, film, and most things musical. A somewhat misspent youth has led to his first publication of his memoirs. Favourite quote: I know I know nothing!

An interesting read

This was a good book although we grew up worlds apart some things were very familiar. Like growing up pre video games finding things in the community to amuse yourself. Changes that as kids we just don't understand like gas going from .99 a gal to over$1.00. I did not. understand what effect that would have on my family. Games the main character would play by himself. Liked catching birds in the back yard with a stick some string and a laundry basket my youngest uncle taught me how to catch birds as a kid. only before we sit them free we tied a string to one leg and had them fly.while holding the string.
