400 studies of vaccines, scientific papers published in recognized medical journals are reviewed in a way that a non-scientific person can understand. The studies are organized under 24 sections: for example, Aluminum, Influenza, Pathogen Evolution and Conflicts of Interest. Each study's origin is referenced so that the reader may read the whole paper and decide whether she agrees with Miller's conclusions, conclusions that are listed in point form.
I highly recommend this book to parents who wish to research vaccinations in order to make a decision about giving them.
Make informed choices on what you feel is safe, not what others say. Research the information yourself and then only you have the right to an informed decision.
I love this book and can’t wait to get more!

of the science behind vaccinations. Following vaccine damage to our son from the MMR vaccine, and also to my daughter from the DTP, and the subsequent extensive research I undertook, I completely reversed my previous pro-vaccine view. I used this book as part of my more recent research in deciding whether to allow our daughter to have any further vaccines including, MMR, only Measles and Rubella (privately) and tetanus (on its own privately) - and decided that for her, with her particular genetic make-up, the potential risks of MMR outweigh any potential benefits. Currently, I am not taking the other two options either. This book has been invaluable as part of my research but I would recommend anyone to not just rely on this. They should do their own research and read as widely as possible.
I believe that it is deeply concerning that attempts are being made (evidenced by press reports) to shut down debate and hide relevant information from the public, preventing concerned parents from accessing scientific information that does not support vaccinations on the pretext that it is pseudo-scientific and dangerous - when precisely the opposite is true! We would not wish anyone to have to go through what we as a family have had to endure and I believe it should be a basic human right to have access to all relevant information which could have a major and significant impact on our childrens' futures and health. It is frightening to think that even newspapers and the media are terrified to publish any story that could be construed as being anti-vaccine as they would be accused of endangering public health. I know this to be true from a journalist we know. So much for a free press ! My hope is that science correspondents for papers will start taking the time and trouble to carry out some thorough research into this all important area without simply relying on vested interests for their information- only then will at least some unbiased information become more readily available to the general public.
His chapter on measles is a trainwreck; claiming vaccine strains can infect other people by misrepresenting how DNA and RNA fragments are detected during outbreaks to ELIMINATE recently vaccinated people from measles case figures. He writes that wild measles can help cure cancer, citing several research papers that are in their infancy, ironically using the attenuated VACCINE strain.
This book breeds scientific ignorance. It breeds ignorance on chemistry, on biology, on basic microbiology and virology.
Parents - do NOT take this at its word. Ask your paediatricians. Speak to immunologists and epidemiologists. Speak to your community health departments within the NHS. Do not believe this awful, terrible, cherry picked pile of rubbish.
