It is beyond my expectation, I understand that I'm purchasing a used book so I'm expecting a real used book with markings and a sign of wear and tear as it suppose to be, but it looks brand new to me. I am really happy and satisfied. I hope the next time I purchase again in which I will, it would be the same experience I got.

HASH(0xa844db34) out of 5 stars Review of Millwrights and N=Mechanics Guide, 4th edition March 25 2000
By Bill(Wilmont) Baker - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
I found this guide to be full of information not found anywhere else. The topic selection is very broad; ranging from drawings and sketches, to welding and blacksmithing. His style of writing, being geared to the layman, is clear and very understandable. All technical terms are explained thouroughly, and the drawings and photos are good. My weakness is electical, but after reading chapter #22 "Elecricity", I learned more than I have anywhere else. I have found this book to be complete, concise, and full of information I can use in my everyday work. I would recommend this book to homeowners, as well as engineers. My copy will stay in my toolbox at work for reference on many different projects, and I will be ordering another one for my wifes book collection. She is very happy to find such diverse information in one book.

HASH(0xa8456450) out of 5 stars Millwrights and Mechanics Guide Dec 17 2001
By J. Lindner - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
This book is very informative on the subjects it covers. However, the mechanics on my staff also work on HVAC which is omitted. There is also no mention of plumbing basics which would have been helpful. But the topics that are covered contain very good information and both apprentices and journeymen will find this book very useful. Maintenance departments of any size should own a copy of this book.

A great primer and guide for all aspiring metal working mechanics. I give one to all of the students. I encourage them to keep this volume in their toolboxes or close at hand. The tables and charts are of great value and Nelson writes very clearly.
