About the Author

Mark Williams is a Professor of Clinical Psychology and a Research Fellow at Oxford and a founding fellow of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. He is the author of The Mindful Way Through Depression. He lives in England.


Danny Penman, Ph.D., is a feature and comment writer for the UK's Daily Mail. After gaining a PhD in biochemistry, he worked for The Independent and the BBC. He lives in England.

As a beginner, I found mindfulness frustrating and annoying at first. But by the third week, I began looking forward to it, and eventually started to notice subtle improvements in unexpected areas of my life. I purchased this book from the Kindle store and very highly recommend it. The links to the audio meditations alone make it very with it. During a time of stress I purchased it and it has helped me be more successful in incorporating meditation as a daily practice more often.

I have only started the mindfulness program, so I can't write as to the helpfulness of the technique itself. But I found the product to be very much as the product description. I also really like that the audiobook is divided onto two CDs, one containing information about mindfulness and how to use the exercises, and the other being just guided exercises.
