Romancing Wisconsin, a USA Today Bestselling Series from NY Times and USA Today bestselling author, Stacey Joy Netzel

To everything there is a season...

Love finds a way during the four seasons in the Romancing Wisconsin Series. Starting with Christmas/Winter, then moving on to the rest of the seasons, check out this bestselling, heartwarming series set in small town Wisconsin, where hope springs eternal for each happily ever after. Military heroes, runaway brides, surprise babies, single the Rileys, the Walshes, and best of all, Butch...a.k.a. Santa Butch. The mischievous matchmaker makes a cameo in each story—adding a touch of magic to the lives of everyone he loves, and even those he's just met.

Christmas in July at the zoo is the last place single parents Eric Riley and Marissa Wilder expect to find love. Thanks to some mistletoe mischief in the form of their two young daughters and Santa, they discover mistletoe rules were not made to be broken.

(Previously published 2009 in Mistletoe Rules anthology, a 2010 Write Touch Readers' Award Winner)

“Daddy, you’re under the mistletoe.”
Eric glanced up at a sprig of leaves and holly berries attached to the roof of the cart, then dropped his gaze to Marissa’s. “So we are,” he murmured.

Her face flushed, but he couldn’t tell if it was from embarrassment, or anticipation of a kiss. He knew the reason his pulse raced like an out of control locomotive.

“You have to kiss her,” Reese stated.

God Bless you, Reese.

Santa laid his arm across the back of the front passenger seat and craned his head around, his brown eyes twinkling. “‘Tis tradition.”

“It’s the rule,” Reese argued, frowning at Santa before turning back to Eric. “You say so every Christmas when we stand in the doorway at Grandma’s.”

“I do, don’t I?”

Reese nodded emphatically. “Every year.”

Eric faced Marissa and sighed with exaggerated reluctance. “I might’ve been able to buck tradition, but a rule’s a rule.”

HASH(0xa8545ccc) out of 5 stars Loved it! Sept. 17 2012

Mistletoe Mischief is the first book in this series involving the Riley siblings by Stacey Joy Netzel. I just finished reading it and can't wait for the next. This was a fast fun romance. Ms. Netzel managed to make me care about these characters from the beginning. Even the child characters were well developed. The characters touched my heart and I hope they're in the other books of the series.

HASH(0xa8545f18) out of 5 stars Author doesn't disappoint Oct. 23 2012

I have read Stacey Joy Netzel's books before and this series is going to be another one that doesn't disappoint me at all. Marissa is a single mom whose daughter, Heather, is in Summer School not because she needs academic help but because it is a chance to make friends at the new school she will be going to. Eric is a single dad whose daughter, Reese, just happens to have become Heather's BFF. On a school outing to Christmas in July event at the Zoo, the parents meet and there was some miscommunications along the way. But with the help of Santa, the girls and a sprig or two of mistletoe, Marissa and Eric got an early Christmas present - each other.

This is the first book in a new series and from the excerpt the next one is just as good as this. Cute kids, cuter hero not put off by the heroine's walls.

HASH(0xa854a1ec) out of 5 stars Fun holiday read Nov. 20 2012

The story was fun, with Santa playing matchmaker for two single parents. The descriptive capabilities of the author took me right into the sights and smells of the holiday and the wood working. A fun quick read.
This was my first of Stacy Nitzel's books and I got it for free, which I'm thankful for. After finishing this one, I immediately did a search for the next two titles in the series. Both were $2.99, which I think is a little high for a short story. There are too many other short stories to choose from in the free category or $.99 category, which I think is more in line for the price... (sorry).
I definitely recommend Mistletoe Mischief.

HASH(0xa854a24c) out of 5 stars Needed more Jan. 20 2013

I like the concept of the storyline but it was a VERY short book and ire seemed like they married on their second date I like to read books with a lot more depth. And I'm glad it was free and if the others are like this one definately not worth the price
