The converter is easy to figure out; Left/Right RCA jacks to converter and HDMI out to HDMI into TV - That's it.
I had an HDMI to HDMI cable here to begin with and RCA plugs too. After all was connected, The TV was not receiving any signal. So I went online to Monoprice's website. Noticed in their support section there is no phone number listed. Only a support 'Chat Box' (which was not functional). Found a seperate email address for Tech Support and explained my problem. After 2 days had not received any reply. So I try again. Another message. The following day still nothing. Now I email their Customer Support - next day nothing. Finally I notify Amazon by phone and explained that I'm just trying to get support for this converter which is not working.
In the meantime, I purchased another HDMI to HDMI cable to be sure that all added hardware was functional (I really wanted this to work).
After the call to Amazon, I receive an RMA number. I had not requested one. I would have preferred Tech support. This was my complaint to Amazon! Five days had already passed since I received the product. Now with an RMA number I went and bought packaging and shipped the product back to Monoprice (I was out $8)
On the 6th day and after shipping the product back, I finally receive an email from Monoprice Tech Support! They tell me they were just "Too Busy"and now they're ready to help me! I reply "sorry but I have received an RMA number and have returned the item. Six days is too long to wait for Tech Support".
Within the next few days I received numerous emails from Tech support which proved they were completely clueless as to what was communicated to them. "Do this" ... "Do that" (nothing I hadn't already tried on my own originally). The frustrating part was that the "already returned product" part was ignored and they proceded like if I still had the item with me and now let's boogie.
My $43.01 were returned to my account - but I am out $8 out of pocket for Shipping/Packaging.
