Really good, I enjoyed this fun story. What starts out as running from heartbreak & heartache turns into love & forever. Brought together by a wife wanted ad Joe & Sophie are a cute couple who have a week to get to know each other before they marry at the courthouse. But things turn upside down when Joe’s mother starts planning a wedding for the already married couple. Ups & downs & a few surprises are spread out in this wonderful journey to love. I truly enjoyed the way author Jane Porter brought Joe & Sophie to their meant to be moment. Definitely recommend to read. Thank you to Tule publishing for letting me read this ARC for an honest review.

A modern twist on a mail order bride story.

It all started with a “Wife Wanted” ad placed by Joe Wyatt in which Sophie Correia answered. Joe was tired of his mother asking when he would marry and have a family. He didn’t have time for dating and it was hard to meet women when he spent most of his time working on his family’s cattle ranch high in the Gallatin Mountains overlooking Yellowstone River. His previous relationship ended because the girl didn’t like living so far from her family, friends and the excitement of town. When Sophie answered Joe’s ad, Joe thought she was perfect for the businesslike arrangement he was seeking. Sophie came from farming family, so Joe knew she would understand how hard ranch life could be.

Sophie wanted a new start far away from California. Far from her family and ex-fiancé who broke her heart when he betrayed her. Sophie didn’t plan on falling for Wyatt, but it happened, and it happened fast. But life wasn’t exactly as Sophie had pictured it. Wyatt’s mother and grandfather didn’t want anything to do with her and she didn’t get much alone time with Wyatt. The days were full of frustration and tension for Sophie and Joe, especially when Joe’s mother decided to start planning their wedding. It will either make them or break them.

This was such a good book and the perfect start of a new series. I really enjoyed seeing how Joe and Sophie worked through every obstacle that was thrown in their path until they finally got their happily ever after. I look forward the books that will follow this one and learning more about the Wyatt brothers.

Joe Wyatt gave up a successful rodeo career to run the family cattle ranch in Paradise Valley. His grandfather is getting up in years and said he needs help. Joe accepted that this was his duty as the eldest son. I liked his sense of responsibility but felt sorry that he had to make this sacrifice. Joe was lonely. He wanted a wife and children, but the ranch took all his time. He had no social life which is why he advertised online for a wife. When Sophie answered his ad, they made an agreement to marry for convenience and practicality. Now that she's in Montana, their relationship hits a few bumps. Their chemistry sizzles which unsettles Sophie. She's been hurt by an unfaithful fiancée. She's afraid to believe in a HEA, but she's fallen in love with Joe. I wanted them to share what's in their heart, but they're afraid to be open. I was pulled into their romance. Jane Porter wrote a wonderful story. Her characters are relatable. I was drawn to them and wanted them to find the love and happiness that they sought. It's always a special treat to visit Marietta and the Paradise Valley. I love the caring people who live here. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the Wyatt brothers find their future.

What a wonderful start to a new series that is based partly in Marietta (my favorite fictional town) and the other part in Paradise Valley, Montana. Joe Wyatt is the eldest of 4 boys who all were rodeo competitors. Joe came home to the ranch when his grandpa and Mom Summer mentioned needed his help about 5 years ago and he has been helping out since. Joe decides it time to find a wife so he puts an ad on the internet and Sophie answers it. She is just out of a relationship and going towards Marietta and Paradise Valley is the best thing for her. She just might nor realize it yet. If you have ever read a book based in either of these places you will know the characters are wonderful and the landscapes are beautiful. What I loved about this book was being able to catch up with old friends while gaining new ones too. Joe and Sophie are an amazing couple that's story is one I will re-read I am sure time and time again with his brother's books.

Joe’s family also isn’t sure about him becoming involved with a stranger. Love these characters and root for their HEA. Great writing and a visit to Marietta is always a welcome escape! This book is a strong start to a new series, looking forward to meeting the rest of the Wyatt brothers!

Love a good mail order bride book, or in this case, email. Joe wants a wife, one who can handle the ranch life, strong, and love wasn't necessary if they got along. Sophie seemed perfect, and when she arrived, teary-eyed, he wondered if it would all work out.

Sophie, brokenhearted from a recent breakup, is ready for marriage. Life on a Montana ranch didn't sound all that different from the dairy farm in California. She didn't count on it being so remote, Joe's mother being difficult, and their regimented life. Had she made a mistake?

Marrying in secret meant bending the truth which was hard when Joe's mom wanted to plan a beautiful country barn wedding. Sophie had to find her place on the ranch, and Joe had to learn to let down his guard. Slowly, but surely, the slow burn turns to love. But is it enough to sustain their marriage?
