I received a copy of Daisy Banks' "December Roses" to review.

This story is a sweet smelling tale of love between a young woman and her beau just after the war years in Britain.

One of our most powerful senses is our sense of smell. And for this lovely older lady the sweet-smelling pink roses she receives bring back a wonderful, cherished memory she is able to relive. And more importantly share with her daughter so the love & laughter of that day will remain alive forever. Even though it is years later you can feel the love and sense of rightness between these two through the memory that the author shares. And the story itself, as well as the interaction in the present between Mother and Daughter, bring a smile to the reader’s face and heart.

Once again Daisy Banks has drawn us into a moment of joy and happiness that will now live forever in the reader’s world and heart as well.

Tamara Philip's "The Art of Forgiveness" is an incredibly touching installment to this series. It is the type of book that grabs you from the beginning and doesn't let go. The unique and insightful writing perspective allows you to feel as if you are a true part of the main character, and challenges you to think about forgiveness in your own life. I highly recommend it!

HASH(0x9b4575e8) out of 5 stars A Wonderful Anthology & A Unique Selection Of Stories March 2 2016
By Mac - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
My favorite story of the bunch was Two Hearts Unspoken by Tamara Ferguson. The story was emotional, yet held my interest to the very end. This author has a talent for inventing believable characters and dilemmas.

Beth is the mom of an autistic son, and since I have some experience with autistic kids myself, I found the humor injected into this romance to be rather refreshing and touching, as well as accurate.

Zach is a scarred wounded warrior afraid to move forward with his life. But unlike Beth’s former boyfriend, he has no reticence at all about taking on her autistic son. What Zach is worried about is Beth’s reaction to the debilitating scarring from burns that he hides underneath his clothing.

With 12 different stories in this anthology, from a talented group of multi-award, winning and #1 bestselling authors, there’s an engaging story here for everyone!

HASH(0x9b8771e0) out of 5 stars FELT BY THE HEART by Angela Ford March 1 2016

What a beautiful and emotional story of Rachel, a mother who puts her children first, and herself last. Her son has already left the nest but her daughter Brooke is still at home, a teenager. Rachel questions the men that have been in her life, and the life of her children, why she has not found the HEA love that her parents have and her dear friends Allan and Rose had. The father to her children was an absentee man, and her second husband was a manipulator. Will she ever trust her heart and another man again? Sometimes, when you least expect it, you will meet someone special. The plot kept me captivated with this heartwarming story that is told in Rachel’s POV and Derek’s POV. The dialog is open, honest and at times raw and heartbreaking, but the message is beautiful and offers hope and a chance at a new beginning.

Felt by the Heart by Angela Ford
Sometimes life leaves us beat and battered, struggling to pick up the crumbling pieces. To find our way to be whole again. Felt by the Heart is a story of just that. Rachel is learning how to accept that although her marriage has ended she is not a failure. Finding a way to start her life all over and strengthen the relationship with her children, but mainly her daughter.
Derek has only made time in his life for work and that has been the cause behind his failed relationships. Up until this point he has been so busy with work he hadn't noticed something was missing.
Together they form a friendship that needs work but they feel they need to heal them. Will they figure out that it is more than just a one way friendship or will they lose the connection they are forming?

HASH(0x9b32c0c0) out of 5 stars Absolutely loved it! March 5 2016

There I sat … sad that I had read the last word of this anthology because my journey with the authors had ended. And what a journey it was! As I write this review I’m still thinking about that journey and the collective writings of each author’s words that left me with a renewed sense of warmth for the experience.

I’d have to say my favorite among them is ‘The Art of Forgiveness’ by Tamara Philip. Her story is a page turner expressed in such an emotional and intense manner that I did indeed feel that I was a part of the story, and in the end, had returned from a delightful excursion with the characters. This anthology is a must read that I absolutely, absolutely recommend.
