From the Back Cover

Pearson’s MySearchLab is the easiest way for students to master a writing or research project.  In a recent student survey, the overwhelming majority of students are assigned writing and research projects, for which they would use research and citation tools if they were available to them.  MySearchLab is a website available at no additional charge in a package with a Pearson textbook and is also available as a standalone product.

HASH(0x9d581d20) out of 5 stars Motivation & Emotion May 2 2012

The man who wrote this book was my professor, and how the book is written is exactly how he teaches: simple and to the point.I would recommend there being more up-to-date examples in the book to make it easier for students to grasp the concepts, but overall the book teaches exactly what it says in the title.

HASH(0x9d581f30) out of 5 stars Sweet Emotions May 22 2012

This textbook is great. I am no expert on the subject of motivation, but reading this helped me grasp several concepts I was unaware of. I am a highly motivated individual to begin with so the class I was in that required this textbook was fabulous. I would recommend this book even without the class. It explains a great deal about behaviors, incentives, and why people do what they do.

The only negative thing I have to say is that the web links listed throughout the book are already out of date. Most of them don't go anywhere except an error page. That was kind of annoying.

HASH(0x9d584240) out of 5 stars A surprising good read. July 13 2009

I got this as a college book required for a class and it turns out to be very well written, easily understood, and surprisingly easy to read. It covers all past and present theories of motivation and the final two chapters deal with emotions, because emotions are still difficult to explain even by professionals. Overall, a good buy.

Text book was in great shape and I really appreciate the quick mailing - I needed it for the class I was in and having it made a world of difference - online textbooks just do not work for me.
