5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Chronograph. Movado never disappoints! Dec 2 2013
By J. Buddenborg - Published on
This is a watch I looked at for a while and finally purchased. I've had this watch about 10 months now. I can't say enough good things about it. It keeps time beautifully, it wears well with jeans or a suit, and it gets compliments. I am a big fan of chronographs, but they are usually quite expensive. This watch will stack up against a Tag for half the cost. The sapphire crystal face prevents any scratches and the band makes this watch very comfortable to wear all day/night long.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome watch & Movado March 8 2011
By NS - Published on
I was looking for watches for a long time. I was more into buying Citizen Eco Drive titanium ones with a lot of feature. Movado was expensive and mostly movados are dress watches. I found this piece at Macys and immediately got the feeling that I should buy it and the same feeling I was not getting while shopping for Eco drives. It is very solid watch, well built. Swiss movement is always better than japanese movement. I get a lot of complements from my friends and co workers. It is an awesome piece of Movado and can be worn with jeans and casual wear. The picture on amazon does no justice to the watch. check it at movados website for better picture. Watch is much better in person. Initially it felt bit heavier but not anymore. It is a very good piece to own. Of course it does not have bells whistles like titanium, perpetual calender, battery meter etc etc, still this watch beats others in looks.

Verified Purchase
I bought this watch as a divorce gift to myself. I dont think i am ready to graduate to movado or rolex but movado is a good one. I just didnt like that they were too dressy. I wanted to find something thats more for every day wear. And this watch was the one. its sturdy and looks good. definitely happy and worth the price.

2.0 out of 5 stars Purchased for my birthday, bad move? April 2 2014
By geoffrey Hiler - Published on
I just got this for my birthday and could not get the stem up to change the time. I checked the manual to se if the directions said anything about changing the time and it just said there were three positions one to wind one to change the date and one to change the time (like every other watch) FINE. could not get the stem up. I don't have long finger nails so I thought maybe that was the issue so I used a precision screwdriver to get under the stem top and lever it up. The cap popped off and the damn stem is still stuck in the winding location. This is the second movado I've had and the second one to have problems. It's under warranty thank goodness (brand new) so off to a repair shop. Also the manual that came with it has no directions on using the chronograph.

5.0 out of 5 stars Elegant and Sturdy Feb. 2 2011
By Michael A - Published on
I absolutely LOVE this watch. It's beautiful and rugged. Perfect for the office or the weekend stroll.

I am NOT a Movado fan. While I don't need numbers to tell time it sure helps to have hash marks! This watch fits the bill and now I love Movado!

The weight is perfect, it doesn't feel like a light low cost watch but it isn't too heavy either. It feels solid without being over bulky or weighty. The same feeling you get when you have an Omega Seamaster on your wrist.

I get a LOT of compliments on it and people are REALLY surprised when they realize it's a Movado!

If you are looking for the best Swiss Made/Movement Chronograph on the market, look no further!

I tried this watch on at Macy's and fell in love!

If price is an issue, think of it like this, if you pay $100 for a watch that lasts you 2 years in 20 years you'll have paid for this watch which is surely to last 50 or 100. Supposing it lasted for 50 years it would have cost you $20 a year.
