Ages 4^-7. Fresh artwork brightens the story of Jule Ann, who is attacked by a mud puddle every time she steps outdoors. Suomalainen also illustrated the 1982 edition, but his new pictures feature a more fluid, energetic style and full color on every page, rather than on alternate spreads. The growing popularity of Munsch's picture books and this edition's more appealing illustrations make this a likely choice for larger collections. The finally price was very low.
My son is a four year old.
These books are his first set of pocket size.
He likes them and the size fit him well.
He always wants to take it with him to school.
The contents is fun to read although the logic in some of the stories is not very right.
But for little ones, it should be fine.
The only issue is when he asked me why, it is not easy to explain...
Bob Munsch has written yet another light hearted story to which every child can relate and most importantly, laugh about. With his masterful repetion and the fact that he seems to somehow truly know what it's like to be a kid, children will undoubtedly be glued to this story from beginning to end. My kindergarten class cheers each time they see me bring this book out.

I was expecting this to be a full sized book, however, it is only about 2in x 2in. Still a great book just not quite what I expected.Published 21 days ago by Amazon Customer

Cute little book and I love the story. It is however very small but fits well in a purse or diaper bag. For the price, it's really great!Published 4 months ago by Amazon Customer
