We get to see the further adventures of Murdoch and co. Yannick Bisson tries his hand in the director's chair, and we get another tale with Terrence Meyers (my favourite recurring character). Unfortunately, the scene with PM Stephen Harper is not included in the episode, but there is a special feature about that part. The scene is in the special feature. Makes me wonder if they recorded an ordinary scene in addition to the PM's appearance for broadcasting overseas.

Excellent! Taking place in Toronto in late 1800's, early 1900's it has the beginnings of forensics. It has great mysteries, romance and humor.

A well-written, intelligent family-friendly program. An interesting look into police work in the 1890s-1900s with a little bit of scientific creative licensing to keep things interesting. CBC will air Season 7 this fall. A good chance to catch up on older episodes. This is not your typical run-of-the-mill police procedural. I highly recommend the series.

I am such a Hugh fan of Murdock sharp well written acting is excellent and even though the tack a little creative license with time frame watching the interaction between Murdock and such historical characters as tesla Arthur Conan Doyle is wonderful.
I am sure that magic was used when they shipped this order, I had ordered it on the Sunday and both season 4and5 were at my door on Thursday . Not sure how they got the post to move that fast, but it made for a wonderful way to spend a long snowy weekend
I recommend all the seasons not just for fans but for anyone looking for a quality show

I love detective stories, but this series, set in Canada, with a charming and intelligent agent, historical figures, and interesting supporting cast, is a real winner!

The whole series is based in Toronto in the late Victorian era.
As such, it is non-violent (though there is crime) and somewhat
cartoonish if compared to modern crime shows.
However, so is Connery's James Bond if compared to the
Bourne series.
The cast is good, the good guys always win, evil is conquered
and Toronto is a proper city once again.
