Product description

About the Author

I have been a 3D animator for several years now, but recently I have decided to translate the skills I have learnt to a platform where I can share my own stories. Comics basically employ the same methodology as animation. The same use of poses, expressions, acting, storytelling within a scene, and even timing; however, in comics we can throw away all of the grunt work of filling in the animated motions with more frames. The nice golden nuggets of action remain in tact and we can forget the rest. This affords the imagination the space to fill in the rest. This may be why comics appeal to so many people. Through my experience thus far in comic creation the addition of writing, cinematography, drawing, page layout and having the creative control (AKA being accountable for the content) has added great value and breadth to the experience. I would encourage anyone wanting to tell their own stories to do so. Perhaps start small like I did: join a comic group of some sort, work up to feeling confident in your own work - the art and the storytelling. Spawn little mini comics; 5 panel or 5 page babies that will test your skill and dedication. Maybe then move up to a 10 pager. Nail the steps of a comic on the small scale, so you can believe you can do it on the large scale. Once you have that belief there will be no stopping you. I am a fan of the ridiculous, and have always wanted to share my own characters and ideas. I am so pleased I am able to do this for you now. I thank you for the opportunity and the support
