I am not good at this review stuff. I'm a total fan of this book and I hope that everybody reads this love story. Rimmel is so relatable and Romeo wow smoking hot deliciousness. I totally love that Rimmel didn't take no guff from Romeo or IVy. And in the end it work in her favor. I love this quote put a smile on my face.

"I love your glasses, your clumsiness, your wild hair, even the way you snort when you laugh."

I hope you like my review pick yourself up your own copy you won't regret it.

I read this book in one sitting. It was a quick and easy read. I loved the progression of Romeo and Rimmel's story. Despite the fact that this progression of this book was fairly predictable, I still felt connected to the characters and their story.

The next book in the series continues their story. I have to admit, I won't read it. I'm happy with how Romeo and Rimmel are at this point and I don't want to see it destroyed.

4.0 out of 5 stars cute and fun! Oct. 9 2016

4 stars!

“No one wanted to deal with damaged. It made them uncomfortable.”

#Nerd is the comedic story of Rimmel and Romeo. When Rimmel is told she is supposed to tutor the star football player and campus star Romeo, she’s not exactly thrilled. Rimmel blends into the background as much as she can, hiding behind her long hair and her baggy clothing. When Romeo meets Rimmel, he’s not impressed and doesn’t take her seriously. On top of that, Romeo is rushing a frat, one that is ruthless. And they now want him to sleep with Rimmel as a part of his initiation.

“You asked me why I'm here," he murmured, leaning in so he was so close his lips brushed mine as he spoke. "This is why I'm here, Rimmel. Can't you feel it too?"

I really enjoyed this book. It may be predictable, sweet and a little bit cliché, but it all WORKED. Rimmel is a character I fell in love with, her insecurities, her feelings of loneliness, and then watching her bloom into a beautiful young lady. Rimmel’s transformation was my favorite part of the book. Romeo ended up being a great hero, he didn’t get off to a great start with me, but by the end of the book I was rooting for him.

If you are looking for a great break from reality, this is the book for you. I cannot wait to read the rest of the books in this series, as this one was so much fun.

“When did everything get so damn complicated?”
“When your life became about more than just football.”
“You sound like Yoda.”
“It’s the beer.”
5.0 out of 5 stars I was laughing and crying and wanting to bash certain characters over the head. That's a great thing. March 6 2017

This was great, unique spin on a contemporary sports romance. The use of hashtags and the BuzzFeed really added colorful flavor and set the stage for each chapter.

I was laughing and crying and wanting to bash certain characters over the head. That's a great thing. You want that connection and pull. Hebert did a wonderful job getting into the minds of her characters.

Another thing I really enjoyed was how she took a genre that is very saturated and carved a unique storyline that was compelling.

I did notice a few football terminology errors (because I do like football and my husband is obsessed... I MEAN, OBSESSED with football) so I knew some terms were incorrect, and there were a couple grammatical errors I spotted. But those were minor and the flow and pitch were purring along as smooth as Romeo's Mustang.

There was great emotion and character development. I really didn't like Romeo at first, but he changed and grew on me. Rimmel was fantastic. ***Having a girl crush at the moment.*** What a tough cookie. I enjoyed getting into her head, and Hebert did a fantastic job pacing that unveiled. She didn't lay the characters bare, but slowly showcased new aspects.

Great job.

>Book Review - #Nerd

>This is the first book in the Hashtag series and ends with an HEA.

>Rimmel is an introverted smart college girl, nerd, if you will. She is forced into tutoring a jock to keep her scholarship. She wants to be a vet. Animals are easy for her to relate to and be herself with. What animal lover DOESN'T feel that way! Roman (Romeo) is the college star QB. He can and does have any woman he wants. He is forced to attend tutoring to keep his grades up. Two more opposite people could not exist.

>Romeo could have come across as a huge jerk. He was a bit full of himself, but a nice guy deep down. He treated Rimmel with kindness in the face of her awkwardness. I love seeing how Rimmel came out of her shell enough to make some girlfriends. For once, these girls were not catty or bitchy, but just kind souls. These types of girls do exist and I am so glad they are shown in this story.

>The whole Greek scene is fairly accurate. Scary. I would hope this book would show how being cool is not always the thing. Being true to yourself is the new sexy! The blog posts at the beginning of each chapter were so quirky and fun to read. What a great idea. The supporting characters, Trent, Ivy, Braeden, Missy and even Zach were great additions to the story and I hope we get to see more of them.

> This book is for an adult (18+) audience due to sexual content. This is a sweet opposites attract college age love story that even those out of college will love.

5.0 out of 5 stars #Nerd Is my new favorite read! Nov. 6 2014

*Spoilers*

Popular Jock meets Nerdy girl, But #Nerd is so much more than that! I Fell in love so hard with this story. It's a perfect mix of laughs, romance, and New Adult Angst. Rimmle, quite, #Nerd. Is forced into tutoring the top man on campus. If she wants to keep her scholarship to Alpha U. Then she'll have to tutor him. Romeo is the top jock of the college, star football player, sexy, ladies man. He's forced by his coach to get a tutor, if he wants to stay the star player. I really loved Romeo, he wasn't just that star player, who goes through girls like crazy, there was alot more to him. He was sweet, sexy, and he has a big heart. I really loved the emotions and feelings he was dealing with, when he saw that he was starting to fall for Rimmel. And Rimmel, oh god i love nerdy, accident prone, animal loving Rimmel. She is one of my new favorite book characters. I love that she had such a big heart. Even with such a jaded, heartbroken past. Rimmel is strong. Her & Romeo's journey of falling in love is just so awesome. I felt there love and emotions leak through the pages. I also really liked the feeling of fall through the story. With hoodie's, boots, football, & Leaves. It' a perfect fall read. And the alpha buzz feed was alot of fun to read too. I fell in love with everything in this story. The main characters, the friends, Murphy ;) the setting. And the all around #Nerd Love. Rimmle & Romeos Story will be one that i will re read over & over. Can't wait to read whats next.

4.0 out of 5 stars A fun, college read Nov. 2 2014

I am a fan of romances where the main characters are opposites, especially the jock and nerd kind. Roman "Romeo" is the hot, popular, ladies-man, star football player and Rimmel is the nerdy, quiet, no friends, loves to volunteer at a pet shelter, girl. They meet when Rimmel is forced to tutor Romeo to keep her scholarship. They get off to a shaky start, but soon become friendly. Besides football and getting tutored, Romeo is trying to join an exclusive frat which could make his dream of playing in the NFL more of a reality. The president gives him tasks he must finish in a month as part of pledging, and this makes Romeo question everything.

I loved Rimmel from the start. She's nerdy and quiet, but is not apologetic about it. She seems like someone I would be friends with in real life. I have to admit, I did not like Romeo in the beginning. He seemed like conceited jerk, and he was until Rimmel. By the end of the book, I loved him.

This book was sweet and fun. I liked how there was not too much drama or angst. This is the first book about Rimmel and Romeo in the Hashtag series. Apparently the next two books are about this couple. The one thing I like about #Nerd is that there in no cliffhanger ending. The way it is wrapped up can make this a standalone story if you do not want to read the next book. I know I will be reading them and can't wait to learn more about the lives of Romeo and Rimmel.
