Overall, it’s a fantastic and efficient addition to any kitchen for versatile cooking needs!
The digital interface is intuitive and user-friendly, offering precise control over cooking settings. The 8-in-1 functionality eliminates the need for multiple kitchen gadgets, saving both space and time. The air fry feature crisps food to perfection without the need for excessive oil, promoting healthier cooking habits without sacrificing flavor.
One standout feature is the even and consistent cooking achieved through the powerful convection fan. Whether I'm baking cookies or roasting vegetables, the results are consistently delicious. The air fry oven's speed is remarkable – it preheats quickly and cooks faster than traditional ovens, making it a true time-saver.
Cleaning is a breeze thanks to the removable crumb tray and easy-to-clean surfaces. The durability of the appliance is evident in its construction, and the stainless steel finish adds a touch of elegance to my kitchen.
The Ninja Foodi 8-in-1 Digital Air Fry Oven has truly revolutionized my cooking experience. Its multifunctionality, efficiency, and ease of use make it a must-have for anyone who values convenience and versatility in the kitchen. If you're in the market for a top-notch toaster oven that does it all, the Ninja Foodi 8-in-1 is a stellar choice that exceeds expectations.
The first issue is that the outside surfaces (the top, the sides), get scorching hot (like, fry an egg hot) within a couple minutes of this turning on. Even when you do something routine like toast a few slices of bread. And it takes a considerable amount of time to cool off again. The pre-heating on this thing is insanely fast, it's like the oven-equivalent of going from dial-up to broadband, but then it takes easily 20 minutes to cool off. Even if all I did was toast bread!
It's annoying in two ways. One is that it's a safety hazard for anyone not smart enough to avoid it. In my case, a cat. It stresses me out every time I use this that he's going to burn himself. If it at least cooled off a bit faster I might not mind as much, but even toasting bread has a 20 minute cool-down. The second way it's frustrating is that you are not supposed to put the oven into inverted/storage mode until it's cooled off, so it continues to take up a lot of counter space. I otherwise really love the inverted storage design, it works really well and makes the counter space taken up by a toaster-oven much more tolerable.
My unrelated source of annoyance is the controls. Doing everything with a single knob makes this needlessly confusing to use. I'll get the hang of it with enough practice, but it doesn't have to be this hard. You're switching cooking modes, controlling the timer, controlling the temp, and controlling start and stop all with one knob. Yesterday I was heating a pizza and wanted to switch to broil at the end. Huh. You basically have to turn it off and turn it on again, and go through a whole cycle of setting a mode, setting a cooking time and setting a temp (hi/low in this case).
Other than those two things, there's an awful lot to like about this device. It heats almost instantly, cooks well, toasts well, and is brilliantly compact for how large it is on the inside (just big enough to cook a standard frozen pizza, and a genuinely useful amount of real estate for baking things like cookies). And maybe I'm being harsh on how hot it gets, "it's an oven, of course it gets hot!" -- but my Vortex airfryer doesn't get or stay hot on the outside like this, a microwave doesn't get hot on the outside, and a conventional oven doesn't get this hot on touchable surfaces. Those are the things it has to compete with as a cooking option, so it's a problem even if it's an obvious one.

It has great capacity and air fries quickly and well, with a very short pre heat. The only other setting we fuss over is toast and it performs well in that mode. The other modes worked well on quick trial. Fast, efficient, short pre heat.
The instructions are a bit fiddly , but in reality I will probably leave it on one setting for toast , air fry etc. and not fuss too much with presets for the time/temp, unless I am in a time dependant mode like baking. You can certainly change time and temp in the middle of a session with no hassle.
Will let folks know how it hold up over time.
