Product description
Luigi embarks on a dream vacation with Mario and friends upon receiving an invitation to a luxurious hotel. However, his dream quickly becomes a nightmare when King Boo reveals everything had been a ploy to capture Mario and friends. With the assistance of Professor E. Gadd once again, the reluctant and cowardly hero Luigi traverses up and down treacherous floors of the now-ominous hotel on a quest to save them. Wield the upgraded Poltergust G-00 to slam and blow away the ghosts’ defenses, or summon Gooigi, an all-green doppelganger that can help Luigi overcome obstacles he can’t get past alone. Interchange between Luigi and Gooigi as one player, or grab a friend and control one each. For more frenetic multiplayer action, race the timer to clear various objectives on a series of floors in ScareScraper mode. Scarescraper mode can be played online* or locally with up to eight players on four Nintendo Switch systems (additional games required; sold separately).

Well I tried Luigi's Mansion 3 and I loved it. The game play is smooth, which makes it easy to see and make out objects. The puzzles weren't overly difficult. Basically a Mario brothers game that ensures everyone can progress and move on Which is great because very few game developers take the time to think of the ageing game base, as well as making it inviting to those who are looking for a pick up game, which you can leave behind and not have to worry about "rust" time, since the controls are pretty simple to fallow and remember.
I ended up buying this game 3 times. Once for my self, and then the other two went to parents; who may have grown up during the budding video game era but had to work for a living and didn't have the time to play. So the game play for them was very enjoyable. It started off have to hear the "OH well I didn't grow up doing this like you" or some other excuse those who are more seasoned in life say when they're unsure of new tech/game. But with out a doubt they're both fell in love with the game.

The game is quick and easy to pick up, and is very user friendly. Plus I get the chuckle every time my mother sounds like The Joker off Batman when she sucks a new ghost into the vacuum, and then proceeds to trash talk her hubby. Personally I feel this is a worth it game, with out question.

There is also tons of hidden secrets to find, so for completionists like myself, it pads the play time. According to my play time, I beat the game in about 18-25 hours. It's a bit short for the cost, but there's so much action packed in I didn't find myself minding.
The only critique is that it's more of an older kid game (I'd say 7+ due to controls and puzzle solving), sucking up the ghosts is a learning curve of multiple buttons and strategy and that unlocking co-op mode just takes too long. I had to play this for over an hour before my child could join in. I'd have had him do it but he was getting frustrated trying to figure it out on his own. Once it was unlocked, it turned into a lot of co-op fun to play together.
