I have a Ryzen 9 CPU that was reaching temps of 95c after my Corsair H100i decided to give up the ghost. I really needed something that would be more reliable long term, and this was one of the options recommended to me by my local PC shop and I got it the next day.
It comes with thermal paste in a deceivingly big tube, which only lasted for 2 applications since I had trouble with it the first time, and installation guides for either Intel and AMD CPUs.
Make sure you have the right bracket that comes with your motherboard.
I had a lot of issues seating it, and had to do a couple of practice installations before committing to doing it with the thermal paste. The screws had trouble lining up and I ended up wiggling the unit a bit too much for my liking the first try, so I had to clean up the paste and try again. Second time was just as difficult but I managed to get it seated and screwed in place with little movement. Placing the fan back on was also a pain and I ended up digging my finger into the radiator (ouch) but after everything was over with, it was truly worth it. It felt like a sturdy and well crafted little unit, and I liked the brown and tan color of the fan. The extra noise was to be expected, and I don't mind it most of the time.
My temps were brought down to 40c during normal use, and between 50c and 60c on high load such as gaming.
Overall, I'm quite pleased with the quality and how well it's working. I don't think I'll ever go back to all-in-one coolers ever again, and will go the custom route if I ever *wanted* it, since I clearly don't need it.
The installation was probably the part that frustrated me the most, besides the sad amount of thermal paste which is valued at $10 a tube (if it didn't come with the unit) and it's one of the cheaper ones on here.
The same PC shop I went to gets theirs in bulk and sells the little true-to-amount tubes for only $5 and they last for 3 applications. Support local whenever you can, it benefits you and the shop. I would've ordered through them too if I wasn't short on cash and needed to use my $50 gift card I've been saving since last Christmas.
tl;dr Great quality, painful installation, brought my ambient 95c temps down to 40c.

Effective & quiet cooling solution
Compared to the stock hockey puck type cooler in my machine, there is a 26C difference in CPU temperature under normal (constant) CPU load of <=40% and a 31C cooler when running XTU CPU stress test at 100% load. My CPU (i5-11th gen) is no longer frequently throttling on high temperature (>85C) and have been able maintain performance 100% CPU utilization until it hits the Package TDP excursion time limit. Very happy with the performance of this cooler.I installed this cooler in a brand name pre-built small form factor machine. I was hoping that I can use the existing stock cooler backplate to just "plug" the Noctua cooler (15 minute job at best). This did not work as the existing back plate poles were very short and male threaded. I had to remove the motherboard to replace the backplate. However, the back plate of my pre-built unit included the threaded holes X 3 to secure the CPU clamp which the Noctua back plate did not. As a result, I have to add threaded clips / washers to secure the CPU clamp. I am quite sure that this Noctua cooler works well without issues on all popular brand motherboards; just be prepared to maybe spend a bit more time (a couple of hours more) if you run into these issues on pre-built units with proprietary motherboards. I am still giving this cooler five stars as it is not their fault with compatibility but with the proprietary nature of this motherboard, which can happen to any other brand of CPU cooler.

Quiet and great performance. I have an amd ryzen 7 3700x and I had a 240mm AIO and in cinebench r20 I use to get 4450 points. I now get 4902 points. My cpu temp has also dropped. I’m amazed at what a great cooler this is especially considering how small and quiet it is. I was going to purchase a 2nd fan but now I realize I don’t even need one. It’s also super easy to install. I installed it in about 5 minutes tops. Really, really impressed! I now wish I bought a nh-d15 for my 5900x. Noctua has just gotten a new customer for life
