Olga's story is particularly interesting to me as she lives near Toronto and is buried here. I have visited her grave. She was born into great rank, privilege and wealth and this was all taken from her. She was swept up in the whirlwind of the First World War and then the Russian Revolution. Her great fortitude and the love of her husband and sons helped her to survive in a new country. She was a simple, warm, caring and friendly person who saw more sadness and tragedy than most others ever had or will. It is well documented and there was even footage from early moving picture cameras.

3.0 out of 5 stars Short film on Olga Alexandrovna Sept. 12 2013

This wasn't too bad, but it's not really a must-buy for those interested in the Romanovs. It's accurate and gives a nice synopsis of her life, but it's designed to be show on TV as an hour long documentary, and so it can't get very detailed. I've also seen better archival footage on other films. The books "25 Chapters of My Life" by the Grand Duchess, or Ian Vorres's book "The Last Grand Duchess" would give people a better sense of her as a person.
