Product Description

In the final installment to the popular End of Days series, Heaven still belongs to a mad tyrant, and Michaela is losing her battle to save the dying world.

But the tides are turning.

With Gabriel's fallen army, Michaela can finally start a war with the holy angels, which means she has to take care of the Watchers once and for all. What Michaela doesn't realize is that her best friend has his own vengeful plan for the Watchers.

Even amidst a war, Michaela and Gabriel bask in a sliver of happiness. With every touch and kiss, Michaela discovers a new home in Gabriel's arms.

Yet happiness is ever fleeting, and Michaela learns of a vision that foretells of the greatest sacrifice she'll ever make for Heaven. But what is sacrifice in the face of tyranny and madness? It's a lesson Michaela may not live long enough to fully understand.

5.0 out of 5 stars M. C. Did NOT disappoint!! Nov. 29 2014

What an awesome, amazing, twisted, spicy ending!!! I love remembering back to book one of this series The Hunted One. The book was great but I could tell as an avid reader that it was Meg Collett"s first book but I could also tell the potential was very well present that this writer would get better by the book! This series has continued to keep me wanting more and more with each installation.
The story continued seamlessly with this last book. I have grown to love the characters like friends of my own. Clark is one that you will not find in any other books. Michaela is a strong, bad ass heroin with a good heart. The love story and hot steamyness between Michaela and Gabriel will make any reader melt.
As Meg Collette weaves us through the final chapters of this war for control of the Archangels precious heaven, she sprinkles in some action, mystery, sex, deceit, curves, and tears.
The ending is shocking unexpected and has a bit of a cliffhanger! BUT not the kind of cliffhanger you cringe away from. More of a stepping stone to maybe a spin off?? I see a possible continuation of some of these awesome characters and I like it!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars A Perfect Ending to End of Days..... Sept. 30 2015

As far as the end to a trilogy, you couldn't ask for anything better. You think you know where the story line is going, but once again, Meg does an amazing job of keeping you on the edge of your seat. I was happy, I was sad, I was excited, I was crying.

The portrayal of love with its many facets and struggles thru this entire series, whether it love for family, love for friends, love for those you are responsible, or the love for a significant other, is beautifully crafted thru this entire series.

The story was once again impeccably woven together, and I was sad to see it end. This has been a series I have recommended to many of my friends, and I will re-read it many times.

Those that are fans of the Supernatural television series, Dresden File fans, and the urban fantasy genre will enjoy this series.

And for those that miss Clark (I know I did!) Check him out in Days of New. I'm currently working my way thru that incarnation, with Clark in all his glory.

What a great trilogy! I started the first one and truly thought I wasn't that interested until Clark's character hooked me! I grew to love all the characters. At First, I though Michela was kinda whiney(for lack of a better word) but grew closer to her character as I read more. And Gabeeeeee, well, all I can say is I wish that man was real ;-) The other characters were well described and I easily felt I knew them.
It was a thought provoking trilogy for me..I even found myself thinking of my younger Sunday School Days.
I laughed out loud, I swore, cried and even threw my kindle down! Without giving anything away, this was after Gabe flew back from heaven with Michaela. I couldn't bear the thought... You'll see what I mean after you read it.. All's well that ends well though!!

Sorry, I'm not as great with words as the author, but it was a soul fulfilling book for me and I'd highly recommend it!!!
Onto the next one and more Clark...
5.0 out of 5 stars Holy End of Days! July 10 2014

Just when I think the Meg can't take make the End of Days series any better, she fools me! She is a pure genius who with entrap you in her paranormal world with a promise not to let you go. You will laugh, you'll cry, you'll even want to throw things - BUT, hold tight because somethings are never what they appear to be. Most authors struggle with series. Some let the story drag on when it should have ended 3 books ago. While others leave so many unanswered questions and loose ends dangling. Not Collett. While I certainly wanted more as I've become so attached to Michaela, Gabe, Clark and the rest of the gang, it was a beautiful ending that will leaving you reaching for the tissues.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolute must read!!!! July 1 2014

To rate with five stars is just simply NOT enough to properly award the beautiful story that Meg Collett has shared with us. So for the first time ever, I am awarding it my new ‘so perfect I rated it twice’ rating of TEN stars. If ever a book deserved it, this would be it. I fell in love with Meg’s work from the start of this series.

The Only One is book 3 (and the end) of the End of Days series. I was completely and utterly floored throughout this book. I laughed so loud in public people thought I was crazy….which of course led me to explaining my circumstances and writing down the information for a few that thought they might be interested in reading it as well. But I also cried so hard it hurt. The heartache and sadness radiates through the last several chapters. I thought I would be left missing a piece of my heart as well, but in the end, Meg took me by surprise and did the unthinkable! And the heartache and sadness was swept away, leaving only a tiny scar that will be cherished and reopened again and again.

I cannot wait to read the series over again. And I will certainly be suggesting it to everyone I know.

It is bittersweet that the series has come to an end, but it is a series of total perfection!!! I don’t know what the future holds for her books, but I know I will be first in line!
